Why must I always enter a pub with the dumbest bunch or people I have ever seen? I mean sure some parts of this game can be difficult, but my 10 year daughter understands the concept of turning an objective? I really don't think CCP needs to make a tutorial for this particular concept of the game.

The problem could be the poor communication skills of those that believe they know how to do everything right... For example when someone starts a thread and a new player has next to zero clue as to what they're talking about because they use weird acronyms and don't provide any examples about what they're pissed about...

I'm almost glad they were danger close when I detonated my explosives.

Well here, I'll educate you. PTFO= Play the F'ing Objective Objective = In a skirmish match the objectives are the pretty little squares with letters in them. Other objectives minor objectives include anything that has either a red or yellowish icon above it. Blueberry = Those individuals that are running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Step 4: PROFIT! Just did this tonight and managed to get 5 newberries with mics that were willing to learn. Over a course of 10 battles, I taught a sniper how to snipe properly, 2 assaults about the importance of core skills and 2 CoD players how to use cover. Before we disbanded, I invited them to Pyrex's channel and reccomended them to attend newbie friendly corps like Bojo's school and Dust University. All 5 players learned valuable lessons that will stay with them throughout their merc career. Moral of the story: If you teach them, they will learn.

In some instant matches I'll be the only one moving to a hacked objective if it's away from the firefight, or the only one trying to recover a hacked objective. More than a few times I've had people on my own team shooting me while I'm recovering said hacked objective, one time with a grenade or two thrown in. Same people often don't cover me while doing the afore mentioned letting the enemy kill me just so the hack can finish. Speaks loads of the people that play in instant matches and puts a bit of fear in me over friendly fire in faction warfare and (doubtfully) instant matches.

Too many have taken the CoD, and to a certain extent BF, Run and Gun design philosophy and think that that is how EVERY FPS plays. No one nowadays actually THINKS when they play a game. Yes you have to think when doing up you skills and fittings but its not THAT hard. Also for those that say its pubmatches and what should we expect, why should our expectations be lowered just because its a pubmatch?? The reason I left games like CoD and BF is because I wanted a game where people actually have to use tactics. Unfortunately by the way Dust is currently looking it seems like EVERY new FPS is just going to end up CoD as most of the people run around mindlessly.
