This is a thread gathering feedback on all possibilities of earning War Points and the various methods for doing so.
So if you would like to get war points what would it be for?
Would they be for head-shots? Destroying Equipment? Stealing Vehicles? Saving a friend by killing a guy shooting your forces? List all the ones comes to mind and how many points they should dole out. |

-identifying an enemy with a vehicle's scan module, similar to whatever they do for the active scanner equipment. -spotting an enemy visually with your sniper scope, again comparable to the active scanner bonus points. -bonus points for sniping an enemy infantry who's in a vehicle. -bonus points for killing an enemy sniper while he's using his sniper scope. -bonus points for killing an enemy after you're already dead (such as with a grenade that you threw right before you died). |

Personally I want WPs to be awarded at different amounts based on the value of a person's fitting relative to mine. Or just have certain ISK/SP thresholds that adjust the person's WP "value".
Example: I'm using STD gear and kill a guy in full proto. Large amount of WP. Less for "kill steal".
If I'm in full proto killing a bunch of MLT newbies I'd get far fewer points.
Would also like WP payout to vary based on amount of damage done for assists.Right now you get a set amount for assists regardless of how much damage. Current system a guy shoots your target once after you drop 99% of his life and the other dude gets twice as much WP as you.
Actual numbers? I don't know. I'd like CCP completely rework the WP system based on my suggestion so they'd all vary from current system.

Increase defensive and attacking areas so that letters can be marked and WP can be awarded for a wider area.
no WP received for destroying un-owned installations. (side note make CRU and Supply depots much harder to destroy since there are fewer of them now) |

Wishful thinking, yep. I like this. Especially the scaled WP for assists, It's BS when I do 99% of the damage and some guy kills him with a militia SMG. I'd like to see WP scaled to the suit you use.
For example, people running a logistics suit would get less WP for kills but anyone running an Assault suit would get less WP for using their nanate injectors. I'm sure many would be opposed to the idea but if done correctly I think it would be kinda nice. |

I'm not a fan of these ideas. I really don't think that they require enough skill or are usefull enough for the team to merit any bonus.
