I just want to have FUN playing... and not just been target practice for other people... you Vets can kill each other as much as you like in the High level... i just enjoy myself in the Battle Academy ... have fun with PC. |

Panther, trust me, as soon as you get to 5m, you'll be competitive. Each level costs exponentially more than the previous, and doesn't give that large an advantage.
That small advantage can easily be overcome by player skill.. Honestly, just try it. |

As a player stuck in militia gear because of my attempt to be an omni-soldier (thus skills are all over the place litterally) I can easily say gear does not make the player.
I can go positive kill ratio in a prototype heavy environment. |

If you don't want to be a target just don't make yourself one.
If they're shooting down the hallway, get in from behind, fire away and GTFO as soon as they notice. Leave a slightly cooked 'nade as a farewell present and finish off the odd idiot who just lost the better part of his shields pursuing you. Bam hundreds of thousands of isk down the drain by some presumably scrubby militia dude.
You can always make reddots make fatal mistakes. Protobear or not. |

My only issue with protos is that most of them go pub stomping in squads of 5-6 full proto gear all with nanite injector so they dont lose their precious dropsuit to a STD/Militia.
With that being said I only have 1.6m SP, 5m sure does sound like a lot to me. |
