Whats everyone think, something like -5% CPU Usage of that weapon, so if you've got a Scrambler Pistol in a Light Slot that takes up 50 CPU (Just an example), it only take up 47 CPU.
But if you've got a Sidearm in a Heavy Weapon Slot gives -10% CPU usage of that weapon, so it would then only take up 45 CPU.
Also, if you put a Light Weapon in a Heavy Slot it also give -5% CPU usage of that weapon.
Whats everyone think?
Maybe it could be something to encourage more creative playing.
(The CPU decrease is just an example, I'd like it to increase weapon damage, but that might be OP) |

I think a CPU reduction would be more fair than a damage boost. (Then I don't have to make a Sophie's Choice about which sidearm to give the bonus to.) |

You get a reduction by not having the larger weapon in that slot.... |

as one of the snowflakes that has a sidearm in the light weapon slot 90% of the time... i don't see the point of this. oh, and it's not creative if you're using a bonus that would be created specifically to encourage that playstyle. it would just be an UP spec with 100 qq threads on the forums. l2snowflake. |

This. The reduction by opting for a weapon that already uses less PG and CPU is enough that you can uber-tank and boost your weapon damage. Packing dual sidearms with a sidearm damage mod and uber armour tanking on a Gallente heavy, for example, leaves you with more than half of your CPU and PG and that's without core upgrade skills being trained, which makes a CPU or PG reduction completely redundant. |
