Sorry to say i have petitioned for a refund. Many threads have come down about dropships in general and i feel im going to follow Skihids (sp?) and refund. I will more than likely specialize in one thing like medic and if i have some points left over, might throw a few towards some basic ships for now. For being one of the most fun things to do in dust it has become the most painful experience as well.
Perhaps one day when CCP finishes dealing with QQ over AR & SR's maybe just maybe they will take a look at Dropships and not with the nerf hammer they continually swing at it. All in all im just dissapointed, im not even mad anymore.
Good luck to those who continue to fly fully spec'd into ADS, i applaud you and will cheer when i see you guys flying above and morn you when you are killed by militia forge gun. I will say a little prayer.

i have some skills into the eryx as well. Fully tanked with dam resist mods and im still one shotted out the sky, 1 million gone poof. Afterburners wont save you, moving around will give you another few seconds. only staying very very high to which almost no WP/ISk rewards..
I ran a few times with some awesome gunners who went 20/0 as well. It was only because the other team was stupid and didn't bring out forge guns. even militia. |

ive tanked that way as well with 3 extenders and a clarity booster and 2 power plants and max shield skills. I can tank swarms better this build but between railguns and tanks and forges. the risk vs reward is still not there bro. Not QQ just stating facts.
I think most DS pilots are awesome and to the point as well as passionate about flying. They are also very kind in they are willing to help anyone that wants to fly as well as give pointers and such. Its a tight group of excellent players. Shame we are pooped on so much. |

a lot of the things mentioned on here i have tried. if you aren't pub stomping its not worth bring out period. I liked being a mobile cru platform but in the end im getting the short end of the stick. I accept that. My cash is running out faster than i can make it as most of my Eryx run about 1 mil and ADS run about 1.8 mil. I did buy the elite merc pack and have a way of earning some cash. So i fly until i lose a ship (usually 1-3 rounds) then run 10 infantry rounds.
Ill keep doing this till i get my respec then chiao. |
