Wont go on about the handling, seems everyone else is ad nauseum...
Will Dust be the first FPS that really, truly fixes bunnyhopping?
I'd love to see an FPS where someone is shot, starts trying to jump, and stumbles pitifully. Maybe its just that the last few days its seemed that Tranquility has just been swarming with people that starting jumping the moment they even think rounds are coming their way.

YOU ARE SMART. thank you. I thought this my whole life.. itsl ike we can put 20 bullets in someone theyre almost dead and they hop up and down..... its beyond strange its truly weird and notl ike real life... now i dont want them to slow down sprint speed but there should be some sort of problem for jump[ing if ur health starts taking a beating, maybe if shield is down n armor is half there is a small noise and the screen dims slightly and you cannot jump
just a thought. |

I like it when they jump while coming straight at me. Lets me line up a shot more easily because they arent strafing back and forth anymore at least.
*Not an argument in favor of bunnyhopping. |

I think the "jump" mechanic should be a "vault over obstacles" mechanic. That would end bunny hopping and people vaulting over something would be unable to return fire until they are back on the ground w/ both hands free for firing. |

+50 I can't count the HMG kills I have been denied due to this. |

I'd like to see a couple of tweaks to jumping...
1. No ability to shoot on the way up. 2. Unless sprinting forward, there should be a small brief animation where the jumper does a half squat prior to jumping and possibly when landing where they cannot shoot or throw.
Also think the accuracy should be decreased somewhat when strafe firing. |

You know, if you time it right, the recoil will ride up with them. At least a quarter of my heavy kills drop like a sack of boneless shame. |

Mantling and vaulting like bf3 would be nice. I don't think its quite as big a problem in other FPS games, though, because there isn't a marked difference in killing power between low and high rank players. That is, a low rank player's gun more often than not kills just as well as a high ranked player's gun. High ranked players just get cooler toys.
In this game, with all the buffs and mods, being a poor militia schlub dumping round after round into some bunnyhopping proto is the prime example of frustrating. |

I've imagined it as matrix style jumping, flipping, and shooting, and the best a ps3 can handle is a standard jump animation. I could see this being stupid in a modern day FPS, but this is sic-fi. We are immortals piloting suits thousands of years advanced of current times with technology that has mastered the space and the stars within it. I imagine someone has figured out how to program a suit to jump/cartwheel while shooting semi accurately... |

u should be able to bunnyhop until your shield is shot down is my opinion and uve started takin real damage |

If you are running an HMG release L1 (if you were holding it) and swing the reticule over their head and in the direction of their strafe, they will jump into a head shot. It is very satisfying in particular with jumping Shottys and the Knova Knivers. |

They need to make it more and also make it where you cannot reload while doing it. I know I have picked up in desperate situations just because I move faster and can reload while doing it. I would be in favor of it 100% if you took it out, but I can see a need for it (dodging LAVs) but I do think making a just 100% of your stamina would cut this down ALOT |
