1 - It-¦s free. 2 - It-¦s anonymous 3 - Anyone with a PS3 can create a fake account 4 - There are infiltrated saboteurs and paid commenters to try to ruin the game before it gets it-¦s critical mass 5 - It is interesting for the competition to insert faulty feedback and waste devs time 6 - Some people don-¦t have anything better to do 7 - Some people like the source of attention |

Oh come on. Saying that people with complaints are conducting industrial espionage? Sounds like you've been playing EVE too much :p
Not all of them of course, most of the complaints are just whinny youngsters with no clue of social behaviour or optimal procedures for feedback.
But have no doubt, some % of the posting is industrial warfare.
Just because you're paranoid. Don't mean they're not after you. |

Detection Potential Internet Paid Commenters
50 Cent Party
Want to Get Paid For TV Criticism? Shill for DISH.
Get paid to comment on blogs
You just have to flame the right subject:
- AUR refund on release - Monoclegate (I was there, it wasn-¦t anything like people are reporting) - Broken Game will doom the game - 5K Player will doom the game
Again, not saying those topics aren-¦t worth of discussion, they are, but the way you approach them makes al the difference between keeping and alienating a new player.
There-¦s a big world out there, you better catch up with it. Videogames are a good testground, the real deal... it-¦s happening right now.

https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=741327#post741327 1. Just don't.
It is a really important period for you and CCP. We have the birthday of EVE and the DUST514 public release. Everyone is super excited about both and we are working our sitting muscles on both, to make them real, to make them yours.
I can feel your excitement for the new build and new contents, and that is good!
I can also see your passion when you see nerfs to your favourite class or weapon, and that is good as well!
I can see a group of players with different opinions and emotions about DUST514 and that is amazing because you managed to grow up a lot as a community. An year ago we were a hundred, now we are thousands, thank to your passion!
What it is not good or helpful is what is happening in the forum right now: a swarm of spammy one-post micro-treads that casts a shadow on good ones. We need your opinions, we need to hear your voices, through your posts or funneled by the CPM. We need these to develop DUST514 towards the direction that you want. We do not want "noise" caused by spam because it will make more difficult for us to see constructive (not good, constructive) posts among toxic ones.
Thank you for understanding.
Criticism is always welcome, and REQUIRED for the game to improve. No one is questioning the content of the feedback, but the FORM of the feedback.
"You changd my rifle, the game is BROKEN" in 10x differente one line threads
is waaaaay different than
"AR Unbalaced: A review" Followed by "After careful testing, i think the AR is unbalanced after the recent changes due to X Y and Z factors. I noticed that the X feature is not quite right, a problem that is aggravated by the Y problem that has been reported for a long time, and still, no resolution. With a increase in A and a decrease in B factors, i think we-¦ll achieve a proper balance"
People either out of frustration, ignorance of the proper channels of feedback/requests, or simply to flame and try to get other players angry/with a bad view of the tweaking processes, start a ranting spree that last time (with the AUR refund), took the first 6-7 pages filled with ranting and trolling!!!
This gives work for the moderators, that could be getting the proper information to send up the chain of command, this alienates forum readers, because they can-¦t talk properly without the flood of topics, and the "main goal" of reporting a problem and trying to find a solution, is slot in the process of complaing per se.
All i-¦m saying is that there are people that do this on ill faith, trying to incite the emotions of the people and going for an emotional argumentation instead of a factual one, screwing up the process for all involved.
In a paradox, the more people complain in a bad way, the less we can solve the problems. We need more concrete, factual, structured feedbac, otherwise, it-¦s just a bunch of noice that takes up DEV time that could be used in making the game better.

Why would I defend trolls?
How can you differentiate that a "AR SuX, why can-¦t Crappy Crappy Pee do anything right?" came from a troll, or a frustrated non-articulated interested in the game player?
Stupid people are as harmful as trolls, intentions are good, but don-¦t solve the issue. |

Good luck with that?
Hope. Makes us human, really. Too bad most of the time it's in vain.
