With Uprising/Release the tactical ARs have been pushed ahead again.
Or rather, the Lasers have been gimped unfairly.
The new LR iron sights -> unusable
The LR overheat speed -> ridiculous
The new zoom sensitivity -> garbage
Outdamaged and outranged by TARs -> bs
Combine that with the fact that everyone and their mother is now sticking rich (by Dust standards), EVERYONE rocks pimped suits, making LR even more of a waste of time when compared to the TARs.
Because of the new iron sights and zoom sensitivity, it's much much harder to keep a precise bead on a moving target.
Never mind killing the person, because they're running a protosuit.
Never mind hitting them once you've zoomed in, because you can't track them fast enough anymore.
Get your **** together CCP.
I don't want to see another build plagued by AR abuse, albeit a different variant this time.
I'm genuinely worried about Caldari ARs now that we've got this crap. |

As someone who uses the LR the most, I disagree.
The new sites aren't unusable. Don't be ridiculous. They aren't great. But they are definitely useable. They can use improving.
Overheat speed? It's not an issue. If you are overheating you are missing a heck of a lot. But, you'll blame that on the sites.
The TAR complaint is valid. But, that's the problem with the TAR as a whole. CCP screwed that up big time. But, I can still take down TAR users. Especially once heated up.

The sights being bad are a combination of them being obstructive, the zoom sensitivity being waaay too low, and the maps/skins being so dark.
Put that all together and you've got a blurry mess in your crosshair. |

Well they can't be like Chrome build. I think they are on the right track for finding balance for LR. In Chrome they were 1 shots. |

Agreed. The Laser Rifle sights are the worst in the game. Anything would be better than what it has on it now. Glad to see a few other dedicated Laser Rifle users. |

Been using laser since it came out :) I do agree it has problems. I would like to see the current AR sites on it or, better yet, the Scrambler Rifle sites and the glow when firing to be reduced. |
