I feel as if I cannot fire more than 3 charged shots (or 8 uncharged) without this overheating so quickly... The laser rifle takes much longer to build up heat. The shots should be more like 6 charged, 15 uncharged... This weapon suffers against the assault rifle as a result, it is already suffering from lower range. |

I like the overheat, I think it balances this weapon well.
I would like to see a small range increase though. |

The range is quite bad, minor buff maybe?
Overheat balances it quite nicely imo |

overheat seems fine but it needs to match, or at least come close to, the range on the AR.
Charged version should have a slight zoom like the TAR has maybe. |

it seems fine just need to watch it better.....laser rifle will seem really bad at over heating also if you do not watch what your doing. The range is not great sure but the damage is better....and the range on most guns are an issue now anyway. |

If the heat build up is reduced it should only be a small reduction, such as from 60 to 50 or 45. As of now, if you don't like the build up, use the assault variant. The 15 makes it so you hardly ever overheat! |

When I played around with it earlier I was getting 15 uncharged shots off before overheat. The range sucks on it though. |

I think the Scrambler rifle is perfect the way it is. It already does REAL well for me even the standard version. I don't want to have it buffed then having a bunch of people complain about it being op Then it getting nerfed down to the point it's underpowered.
Also a tip with the charge, I usually charge my first shot and spam the next few. If you land that first charged shot you should be good. If you miss either try firing off normal shots or wait. So far it's been working like a charm for me. |

I'd recommend they change the Scrambler passive from charge-speed to heat-build-up reduction. The former passive does absolutely nothing for you if you're using assault variants, which is stupid. |

If I recall, the Amarr Assault suit has a 5% heat buildup bonus per level. |

This is completely true. The way it is currently set up, the only viable way to run the gun well is to use the Amaar assault suit for its heat build up reduction. The skill should give at least a minor reduction to heat buildup. The Amaar suit should be the most efficient way to use the weapon, not the only way to use the weapon. |

Agreed, something like this would be a lot better than the charge time reduction that is of no use for the assault variant. +1 to you good sir. |

Amarr Assault only lets you fire off 4-5 more shots before overheating if fired rapidly. It is far from the only way to use it. Also I hope you know that the semi versions do twice as much damage as an AR and can be fired just as rapidly if you have the finger for it. The heat build up where it is - allowing about 15 shots - is needed to keep this weapon in check. |

Gun needs a range buff, ability to switch gun while its overheated, and a overheat reduction. |

If you could switch weapons when overheated then getting overheated isn't really a drawback anymore. Yeah still to some degree, but not as big as it needs to be.
What they could do that would be fun is if you are overheated then all melee does bonus damage.

Cadance, get some!
Pace your shots out a bit better and have better planning on how often you need to shoot and be aware of the heat management, get the Amarr assault suit it will help with the heat management a bit. If done right you can down a full proto heavy without overheating.
The question is though is surviving long enough as others said the plasma rifle sorta has much better endurance. |

The question is "why does it have a passive that does nothing for a variant?" People with Amarr suits have already noted that the overheat difference in their suits is pretty negligible. They should change the passive to reduce overheat buildup, which is at least useful to both variants instead of (not-so-useful) to the one type.

Heat buildup is acceptable in my opinion. I agree the charge shot reduction time should change to heat build up reduction. Damage is fine (just slightly less than ARs). Range is unacceptable. |

A change to heat reduction build-up wouldn't make the gun an AR, it's just a mild improvement that unlike the charge-time can actually be useful. |

I wouldn't change the heat-reduction in a flat way. I'd keep the heat build-up as-is at base, and change the passive to reduce the heat build-up. Unskilled users would still have the base heat issues, but at proto/mastery would be marginally more effective at managing the heat - e.g. - a few more shots. |

You guys don't know what you're asking for.
The Scrambler Rifle is perfect.
Stop trying to change it into a Tactical AR.
The Assault Scrambler has a 72 round clip, more than a match for any regular AR.
Be patient, the Tactical AR will get its hit. You don't need to break a perfectly balanced weapon, to compete with it. |
