Well, I'd say you've started off on a decent pace, but that you're writing contrary to what you claim it is. My old writing teacher used to tell me that I wrote similar to how I spoke, but I'm reading a distinct lack of something similar here. The writing itself isn't too bad, but when you're done I want you to read it back to yourself and imagine if you'd talk like this while recording an audio log. Said teacher also told me that I used far too many commas, but I fear you've got the opposite problem here. :P |

I see. I am still trying to figure out Straum's "voice." As for the comma thing, I was never good at it. My old english teacher told me I used to many so I changed it and now it is this. Commas are a tough thing to nail down. XP |

I put up a personal post. I think I'll punctuate my logs with personal posts every so often, as well as maybe user submitted stuff that I think is cool. |

I can write too, I just have so little ability to help.
So firstly, congratulations Straum. Just put your commas after sentence openers, and you should be fine. Also, avoid using the second person if you can. I'll put all my writing tips in this post/thread from now on. I'll also help through voice chat. See you on the field soon! |
