I think its bugged for me, I've been playing for awhile and have 4.6 million SP but Academy is the only option available. I figure maybe they are reserving the non-Academy for the people who have a ton and ton of points, but when I click on Academy it won't let me join it. So yeah, a little frustrated right now. |

I kinda just noticed that there seems to be alot of people running massive kdr's for new players. I could be wrong, it could be as you say a glitch in the matchmaking.
tis a bit off putting as I'm not very good at this at the moment, haven't played proper since christmass.
shall wait an see how it goes.

We have a player with over 800K WP that ONLY has the Instant Battle Academy option, lol.

It could be broke, or it could be using different parameters than only WP. I didn't read patch notes though |

This is a first step at improving the new player experience. Well my main is on the second slot out of the three character slots. My first slot guy only has 2 million, so maybe he doesn't have enough war points and it's holding it against the entire account? Just trying to think of possible reasons why it's broke. |

If it is based on WP, and someone that only played Skirmish was playing (so, no stats), then someone very high level could be in battle academy. |

having another problem with it now, it's giving me options for all other battles normally in instant battle but wont let me join any of them.

I got just over 800k sp and I am unable to join the scrub battles or am unable to find them because ... well Im a scrub. I on the other hand am able to participate in everything else. |

We are looking into a possible defect with this. There are reports of new players not getting it and older players getting it when they shouldn't. CCP Nullarbor is awesome and on it! :D |

Instant Battle Academy finally went away and the normal ones showed up, didn't quit the game or anything. Just sat there and it changed. |

Must have felt bad for the "new" guys, getting into the academy and getting face planted by proto suit still.
By the way, what is the WP limit? |

So what is the cutoff for the Academy? How many WP or SP or whatever metric that is being used, do you need before you bounce from Academy to Regular battles? I know it's been an issue all morning with them showing up and reverting back to regular battles, but I was just curious so that when the system is finally fixed we'll know what to expect and when to expect it and to make sure that it is working right once it's fixed. |

Yes. Of course when my account reset goes through that shouldn't be an issue, is there something specific that you want checked?

Yes I do, I have two other, this one is 5 mill sp there abouts, the other is waiting on count to delete, and currently play a a new one I set up this morning
