we had the warm rain of ISK when we got a respec and tons of guys rocking proto non stop in public matches. However the payouts are still quite low compared to the previous build where my best payout was over 1million ISK in a public match. However the price for equipment, modules and dropsuit from standard-advanced have beeing lowered. So im getting a average payout between 200.000~350.000ISK per match. So is my ISK now actually more worth compared to the old build? Im quite curious cause the devs sayd on the fanfest that they wanted to increase payouts. I would like to know how other people are thinking about it. On the tank side however running a tank with full proto turrets can cost up to 1.6 million ISK due to the recent price hike on all turrets for vehicles. |

I was thinking that the proto gear maybe needed increasing in price I am finding I am able to make isk wearing proto gear and complex gear, I was under the impression that this game was never meant to encourage or support players using proto gear all the time, I would personally like to see the prices increase to make us use the lower tier gear more often and pick our proto gear for priority matches only. |

I've already earned 650.000 ISK payout in pub match since Uprising (and others at 450,000/550,000)
I don't know if you saw the economic presentation at fanfest :
- low risk (small fit), low payout but profitable - high risk (big fit), high payout but not profitable
DUST is suppose to be a financial abyss for EVE players.
The thing is that they promised better payout in FW, but FW has issues right now, and you earn exactly the same thing that in pub. |

^ this. The less isk gains, the better game. Shiny gear needs to be shiny, not standard. Killing a proto guy should put a smile on your face, with the knowledge he's raging for a whole grinding day's loss of isk.

In perspective, I would have a proto fit cost 10 000 000 isk at current rates. The loss should be meaningful enough to make them shiny. |

I know that feeling, nothing brings a warm fuzzy feeling to my cold heart like running over a full proto-user with a LAV right in front of his team, yet sadly I don't get hate mail for it. |

They are space rich so how much they make is of no concern of ours. They can generate hundreds of millions of ISK per day mining with little to zero risk*. So how can you even compare the two situations? They can do the QQ Kitten dance in their own forums.
Let them eat vacuum.
* I have been informed by EVE players that if they want to put in the time they can mine and generate 1B ISK per day. These individuals have been accurate so far to date. The problem is they don't want to put that much effort into grinding. |

Thank you...
I'm sick and tired of reading comparisons between dust and eve. And I am tired of players trying to recreate eve through dust. This is probably why there were some fail choices made.
Anyway back on topic....the ISK payouts does not seem to add up. Sometimes, you'll see a bunch of proto wearing guys dying 8-11x and payouts may just scratch $300K for first place. The only time that I'll see a nice payout is if the other team has maybe 2 organized squads using more than std gear. |

I think personaly the PVE in the game will add more payments into the game when you control districts. Also FW will get better payments and when dust goes in 0.0 some corps could easy get a few hunderd mil for importent battles when the merc systeem comes out.
Slowly dust will by more connected to the eve economy.
Who says the current proto suits will by the best suits? Maybe there will by faction and officer suits and further like t3. Same with the tanks there might by super tanks that cost like 30 mil.
This game is going to have a excited road the coming 5 to 10 years. |

They have said to first focus on the core off the game the coming few months to improve and fix things before going into new stuff. |

I'm not too concerned about the ISK rewards in pub battles. I am however concerned that they are not being paid. My wallet has tracked several battles where the ISK was not being paid correctly. Others in my corp have also seen this. So watch your wallet! (I will try to document this for CCP) |

I sure as **** wouldnt be paying any of the mojor corps to throw down for planets the amounts your guys seem to be demanding. CCP wants us to HTFU and not waste/ throw ourselves into overly dangerous scenarios.
Im sure everyone here has had fantastic games where they've been cautious enough to lose very little ISK investment and gain much much more. |

ISK payouts is a core aspect of the game...in the same manner as skill point progression.
Either way, if there is something that is wrong, then it needs to be fixed. The time to fix it depends on the severity of the problem. For example, the aiming system needs to be fixed today. There should be priority but we shouldnt have to wait 5 years for something to be fixed. |

I have 130 million isk after playing this game for some months. Not bad at all. It is easy to build up a nice stack of ISK in this game if you play it right. |

Not any normal player starting Eve can do that.
A starting player with 3 payed accounts with no corp backing him up can make 100m ISK mining all day, some of his skillbooks will cost up to 45m+ ISK
If he goes to low sec to make more his shiney 230m Isk Hulk ship x3 will be blown to bits before he even gets to the rare minerals.
I do know someone who can make 600m an hour but that requires 10+ people working together inside wormholes and they can at any time loose their 3 Billion ISK ships.
Its all pretty relative, i make 50m isk an Hour flying a 3 Billion ISK cruiser, if it blows up i spend 60 hours scraping a new one together.
Personally: Proto suits fitted should cost around 1m ISK, tanks 10m ISK +- i run Proto all day, everyday and i am at 278m now and it never drops, only goes up, i see no reason to ever run an advanced suit and when i die i rage more over dying then loosing a suit. Oh and ive never been revived in my 2500 proto deaths...thats a 500m loss right there. |

Dark Cloud had a point there which most people overlooked:
Isk gains for battle are supposed to come from value of gear opponents used. People got huge pile of isk. People are using currently way more proto gear. Still, isk payouts seem to be lower than pre-uprising.
Question is, is the isk payout system NOT working as intended? In other words, is it broken? |

Theres also currently only 50 people dying per ambush as opposed to 80 in chromosone, maybe thats the low offset here ? |

they don't balance around the top percent of the game, the average player most definitely can't maintain proto gear.
the current system allows about 2.5 deathes before you gain no profit in a match with proto gear, seems fine to me. |
