Lol it's because of your logic in Chromosome STB and Imps had no qualms about calling in 3 tanks into ambush pubs on Mannus Peak (the small map iirc the name) without a shade of remorse. What you are saying is that becausee you got a stash of ISK that you are willing to spend on a tank it's ok for you to call in a tank in 16 vs 16 game and have a full squad of dedicated AV red dots dealing with you only sitting safely in your tank. You gotta choose: either tanks are poweful but super expensive so that they are not ISK- efficient OR they are affordable but are easy to destroy. You cant have both - you cant pay 1 mil isk and buy your way to roll 10 straight games of 15/0 not losing your tank.

All you tankers are whining and complaining about your tanks actually being killable, but in Chromosome they were pubstomp machines. Yes, against AV they died. Dedicated AV, or multiple people running AV, both of which takes people off of the other team to try and deal with the tank. If it takes more than one dedicated AV person to deal with a tank, tanks are not balanced. Because if that's the case and someone drops in a tank, it takes at least two people off of the opposing team to deal with it, and if they don't they get massacred. The only 1v1 counter at that point is another tank. Complaining that you die to weapons specifically designed to counter you is stupid. If you have good infantry, you can kill them easily. A swarm launcher is not effective against infantry. Neither is a forge gun, despite the odd person getting hit in the face by one. AV grenades let infantry fight as well as run AV, but it still disadvantages them because they can't use locus or flux grenades. And a single person with AV grenades won't kill you. If I use flux grenades and a scrambler rifle on a Caldari logi, of course he's going to get wrecked, barring stupidity or lack of skill.
