Honestly when it comes to online gaming you have to take info like that with some skepticism. I mean sure, it's possible it's accurate, but it's just as possible it's just a bunch of people trying to smear someone's name (for w/e reason). I've encountered the latter enough times in my experience with different players to know that ultimately, you have to use your judgment and decide for yourself. |

Well Joe here has been telling his whole corp (PRO) that we have been in an alliance with Sever True Blood, Subdreditt, and Test Alliance for the last 3 months. Today I come to find out, we have no alliance with STB. So given that JOE has lied to us about that and the fact we got an alliance channel like everyone else. I'll assume that PRO has no alliances. Was this information limited only to your Secret Circle also Joe? Your not getting the intel you request :) Nice try though. |

To clarify, it was never our intention as a whole to deface PRO or ContrabanJoe himself. The chat was created as a public place to inform the members of the corp what occurred on Saturday, from there we did not attempt to directly influence their decision to stay or leave. We merely made them aware of what transpired and what we were doing in response to it.
Until Saturday, there were no plans to leave PRO. This was incited by a single event that was the breaking point in a chain of subsequent grievances.
Personally, I'm disheartened that it had to come to such a critical point. Even though I have my many issues with how the events leading up to this were handled, I still retain respect for Joe and all that he has done. He pulled something together that had the potential to be truly incredible, for that, I am grateful for having the opportunity to be a part of it. Without Joe, I would not have this corp full of amazing individuals, which I know I will be proud to call my new home. For that, I thank him.
Despite my gratitude for what he has done in the past, I can find no way to see his recent transgressions in a positive light. I believe Joe had the well being of the community in mind with those decisions, but I do not believe they were the best for PRO. These changes came at the wrong time, and challenges to those changes were not handled in the way they should have been. The corporation that Joe envisioned had become one that I am not interested in being part of. He is the CEO, so he is free to run his corporation in the way he sees fit, but those who do not agree with those decisions will leave if they are not satisfied.
Joe, the best of luck to your corporation, I hope you understand my reasoning for leaving. As for the Dust community as a whole, I plan to see you on the battlefield with a clean slate. I wish to come out of this with either neutral or positive terms with all in the community, and I intend to preserve that.

Well, it wasn't about Joe. Most of us stayed so long, because the community was so awesome. A lot of great players with a lot of crazy personalities that made the game so much fun to play. Shutter is right, Joe brought together an amazing community, but when it comes to leadership, he just falls short. I have no ill will against him personally or the corp, but it's too bad Joe doesn't see it that way. He still thinks I planned to do this from the start, which is just sad. If he really saw what was going on in his corp, he would see that this was all his own doing. We had a great thing going, but he decided to step on our "sandcastle" and wreck it. |

I mean, this is huge, why the hell are up to 150 of our top members (including arguably our best player, Sev Kimura), leaving the corp?
Well havent you got to ask yourself this.. Why was Sev Kimura in the Corp in the 1st place? For such a high rated/ranked player that could go anywhere in Dust (so I have been told), why PRO? And you say arguably our best players.. how do you define that? are you judging on their SP?..
Our best players are loyal ones, and WOW I played with guys last night in PRO that i had never played with before and they were going 15/1 now would where do you consider that?
All I can say is I thank and fully support Joe in what he is doing and so do the rest of our corporation, the 'policy change' works and we only come back stronger.
Good Luck Sev...

This wasn't secret information, the whole TEST/HBC drama is actually as public as it gets.
TEST was a member of the Honey Badger Coalition, so we were allies with Unclaimed. by default.
Then Sort Dragon took over the HBC he decided to start making ultimatums about how we should run our alliance so we said "f you, I quit" and left.
This severed TEST's relationship with Unclaimed. and by extension PRO.
Joe was not lying about any political dealings, and PRO still has friends. |

ANY decent player can go 15/1 so that's something not worth mentioning AT ALL. 3.How does Joe "policy change" work? Why change something that was working? He got rid of the platoons for no reason. The idea for those platoons were so people in there would play corps and work on teamwork. Instead he open it up for everyone AGAIN.Remember that 300mil battle where a blue dot got in there and made things worst. Sorry but PRO is shooting themselves in the foot and don't realize it. |

Things were going great, the platoons were doing their job as a training platform and organizational structure. Unfortunately, Joe's acute paranoia is a monster that has grown far past his master's control. For months Joe has been suspicious of Sev, he had assumed months ago that Sev was seeking to destroy PRO from the inside and Joe has been preparing and thwarting every step of the way.
"A man sometimes meets his destiny on the path he seeks to avoid it."
Seeing that platoons are growing in popularity and strength Joe feared the end was imminent. Soon Sev would have more than 50% of the popular vote in PRO through the management of the platoons and their success. He feared that if left unchecked Sev would technically have full control of PRO through platoons. Joe's reason for dissolving platoons was it was segregating the community, even though he plans to leave "scrubs" in feeder corp and use them as feeder income through taxation.
DOES..... NOT...... COMPUTE!!!!
You wanna know why he doesn't join other corps? The kid has class and standards. He can join any corp now, but instead he makes his own so it can be a home to PRO refugees! Let go of the paranoia guys. |

lol really? He takes away your circles right to be called a circle so you rage quit? That's all he really did... if you guys were really his best he'd HAVE to use you come PC or expect huge losses. Which he will be getting either way. :)
No doubt Joe handled this like an idiot - but come on. You guys lost nothing but a title and had a chance to meet and work together thanks to that corp. And to show your thankful - the first bad real bad thing thrown your way you ditch and call him a bad leader.
lol - joe why you so bad?
You can't even listen to your player base and appease them a little? No wonder you wave your pom pom for CCP - you agree with arbitrarily deciding things for others.

With any corporation the size of Planetary Response Organization, you're going to run into some sort of split at some point down the road when someone in the corporation is going to say "Yo, dude, I could totally run a better corporation than this guy!" and queue the exit of players from the corporation. It's nothing new to corporations and it would not be a surprise if something like it happens again. The only thing that is different from previous incidents like this and the incident which just recently occurred is that the player who decided to start the exit was number two in the corporation second to only ContraBanJoe himself.
The spark that lead to this incident within the corporation had been building up. The corporation had taken the policy of establishing platoons within the corporation for the tentative use as platforms to start Planetary Conquest from. However, it became apparent that these platoons were fostering a closed-off group from the rest of the community as the members of these platoons decided to only squad up with each other and ignore the rest of Planetary Response Organization. With Planetary Conquest quickly approaching, the decision was made to disband these platoons in order to encourage everyone to mingle with each other in the outfit and remove some of the elitist idealism that had come as a result of these platoons.
For those members of the corporation that had been in platoons, this decision to disband platoons was highly unpopular and caused quite a commotion. In turn, this led them to start a chat channel where they decided that they, in fact, could do a better than ContraBanJoe has done thus far with Planetary Response Organization and build something greater on their own. Thus, they founded their own corporation called Molon Labe.
There have been some members of Molon Labe. and others accuse ContraBanJoe of having anger, poor leadership skills, or paranoia. However, most of these old members of Planetary Response Organization are now dissidents of Planetary Response Organization and would like nothing better than to see the corporation fail and be destroyed. As such, there have been no chat logs posted, no evidence provided, or any other forms of proof to verify any kind of behavior like this from ContraBanJoe and their arguments are generally hearsay.
This incident is merely one in a case of many with some incidents being large and some minor. It will certainly not be the last time something like this occurs. I wish those now members of Molon Labe. the best of luck with their future aspirations in DUST 514, as I would hope they would wish us the same. Planetary Response Organization will remain strong, rebuild, and reload with our eyes of the future. To those worrying or hoping Planetary Response Organization is going to or will fail, I leave you with the words of Golden State Warriors coach Mark Jackson. "Get used to us, we're not going anywhere."
