Respec for AUR should be allowed, but it should be delayed by 24 hours to prevent respecs prior to anticipated battles. I think respecs are necessary, because of continuous new content, and CCP keep buffing/nerfing things, which means you can end up hating things you previously liked.
Cost should be relatively high, at least -ú10/$14 per respec. |

In the past I was against P2respec, but after what CCP has done to Dropships and HAV's I say Fuk it.
$1 for a respec hell yeah.
One other thing P2respec might do for us is to allow us to show CCP how Fuked up this game is fast.
Huuuh??? Imagine if all the Vets started dumping 8-10 million SP into everything that the game has to offer without having to worry if it was broke or not.
We would give CCP a very long and fast list of real sh*t that needs to get fixed wouldn't we.
Again I have changed my stance on P2Respec,
I support this cause. |

No respecs unless CCP borks something.
Nothing has meaning unless our mistakes do too. |

Zion Shad wrote:Simple question: Would you pay AUR to have the ability to Respec your character? Answer below.
Edit for Discussion: having unlimited Respec would be a bit unfair, so what limit would be fare to you. I like the idea of 5 AUR respec for the life of the character.
no. |

Agreed. Although sadly, it's quite obvious that CCP isn't that concerned about making this game truly hardcore. |

Well, its very clear that CCP is against respecs happening again. This next one is the last one, so make it count. |

Yes. 10m ISK (since the value of Aurum is regional) & With a 30 day cooldown.
Not at all pay to play, allows us to respec based on current nerf standards, but still forces you to really consider changes. |

Instead of starting a new topic, I'm just going to say I also support this. Yeah yeah yeah, I get it. It goes against their philosophy and htfu or whatever kids are saying these days, but Dust is still clearly in it's infancy. There's going to be a lot of new stuff hopefully coming down the pipes as well as changes to things already existing in the game.
I don't see how an optional respec for aurum hurts anyone. Put a limit on it or whatever you have to, but just add it to the game. When the game gets a solid base (i.e. all racial variants for each weapons for each weapon, suit, and vehicle class) then remove it.
Let people spend money if they want to. Then when you've provided all the base options and players can truly figure out and set a specialization for themselves, remove it or increase the price/restrictions. No one loses out.
Again, sure, it's supposed to be about choices and lasting impact and blahblahblah, but Dust is by no means a complicated game. Personally, refusing to add a respec option just feels like trying to add a level of depth and consequences that doesn't actually exist in the game yet. |
