This is a problem infantry does not face in losing their dropsuit, nor tanks or LAV's once they're safely deployed.
What should this game do to prevent RDV collisions? If I somehow manage to fly brilliantly for the 13 games it takes to pay off one ship, it's just a matter of time before the consecutive RDV losses start showing up. |

Actually I was killed by and RDV when standing on the ridge between objective C and the enemy spawn after we had redlined them.
This guy called in a LAV and I was popping it with my free SL when the RDV came straight for me. It clipped me on the ridge and killed me instantly.
I figured it had my name on a list of pilots that should be attacked and didn't realize I wasn't in my DS. It only calculated that I was higher in altitude and made the assumption. |

Got killed by one last night, the ****** thing was that I evaded it and it still killed me, saw it coming, did a last second evasion, clearly missed it, then got totaled anyway cause of the RDV's hatred of all flying things. |

People have been doing it for months. It's probably the most effective AV in the game. CCP needs to realize this is
kind of stupid. |

They should spawn above the flight ceeling, only outside the flight redline, or have some kind of spawning animation so you know to gtfo. I have never had a dropship destroyed by a spawned one unless just taking off though. |

But in those cases they have to hit a pipe first. Most of the time they do clear obstacles. Except for flying ones :P |

Imthink the flight path of RDVs should be cut in half, therefore reducing collisions and fatalities by half. |
