Not when you take into account the existence of a magical grenade that instantly depletes our shields and leaves us little more than squishy meat-bags. Being a logi means getting shot at constantly. We are painted bright yellow and still show up on the overhead map. There's a friggin bullseye painted on our armor at all times.
And you want to make it so we die -easier-? Seriously. Get some flux grenades and chuck them my way. We scatter quick.

The counter to something OP should not be something OP.
The Caldari logi just needs it's bonus toned down a little. To 2-3%, then everything will be fine. |

Of course, if any other suit stands on a normal grenade they actually die from it. |

Wow you are such a genius, it's like you didn't even read the other posts on the same exact topic!
Your theory is flawed anyways, it's easy to change to avoid that. |

The answer isn't nerfing something into oblivion either. Minmatar Logi has 4 equipment slots and 4 high/4 low slots. There's a trade off with each suit. Mainly in the overall total of slots including primary weapons, sidearms for Amarr, equipment for all races, etc. I'd be OK with the bonus getting toned down a hair, but theslots keep the logistics balanced against one another. |

Ever seen a Gallente suit go on a coordinated suicide Flux run into a group of enemies? It is hilarious and it is the kind of player created awesomeness that makes New Eden great.

I always go for the yellow guys first.
they remind me of bumblebee from Transformers.
But they're yellow, and draw attention.
So I kill them first.
yellow and black has priority status as a target.
not hard to kill, really. |

Just like the other guy said....that grenade isn't specificially designed for logis. It works against other suits just the same. For that logic, give everyone 5 high and 4 low power slots. |

Flux Nades don't need a nerf, use armor if you don't like your shields dropping. |

You can apply that logic to anything that uses shield, But that's not the "OP" part of your logi suit. Its OP because of HOW MUCH MORE VESATILE IT IS. For example, you could slap damage mods, shield extenders, and armor plates onto the suit and make it a hybrid suit that does wayyyy more damage then it should, AND it would ALL FIT because it has logistic stats. I don't give a damn if flux grenades can negate the shields to it, that weapon is not an effective way of winning a 1 v 1, and should not be included in a "why the suit isn't OP thread"......
THIS SUIT IS OP because it has 5 high slots, 3 equipment slots, and 4 low slots with a PG and CPU limit high enough to make everything you want on it work. In short, its like the old Assault proto suit, minus one sidearm and plus one slot for all three of its modular aspects, WITH 5 hp/s regen due to the logistics bonus........ |

That wouldn't be true if they fixed it's shield extender bonus, it's like a permanent complex shield extender after the 4th extender. Then just put a damage mod or another extender for maximum OPness. |
