He's got valid points, though. Mouse users should not be penalized for using the mouse properly.
DS3 users like to scream out with visceral hatred towards me when i mention this, but the console FPS community is the only competitive gaming community in the entire industry to demand other control methods be banned from play.
The fighting game community does not put up with that kind of whining, nor do racing game communities, flight sim communities, or PC FPS communities.
Just the console FPS community. They stand alone as selfish, ignorant, and incapable of taking responsibility for their own equipment.
And in this case, the responsible folks who truly are competitive are the ones who are suffering for it. Kinda lame. |

Kinda lame. mouse users shudnt exploit turn speed and strafe bugs, but they do. ha ha ha. u got what was coming to u. sh!tty for the ppl who didnt. i used to watch and listen to ppl in the warbarg passing these little tips around, u shud have reported it before everyone abused it. sry utsuru if ur reading this. any mouse user ive talked to said it was op for sniping aswell. the option to use a controller is on the table but that wud mean ud have to play fair

I can pretty much destroy everyone in this game on pad or mouse.
Mouse just happens to be a higher skill mountain and a lot of lazy console gamers are intimidated by it.
You never had to learn how to aim before, poor you. |

The majority of people in this world are stupid. If I believed it was CCP's primary goal to cater to stupid people, I wouldn't be here.
OP seems to believe this is their goal, so he is having a negative reaction. It is to be expected.
I'm still not entirely convinced they will continue along this route, however. |

I'm still not entirely convinced they will continue along this route, however. They like to flirt with disaster, but often change course at the last moment. It's pretty myopic to look at controller users as a group as stupid. Controller is here to stay, so you can either adapt or quit.
I don't have to do either.
I have this thing called a mouse, and it rapes your controller.
