The sound is also a huge problem. I can't tell if I'm firing a futuristic Assault rifle or holding the snare drum key on a Bontempi keyboard. Until it moves to Ps4, PC or the new Xbox (if it lasts that long), it's stuck in this sub standard limbo.

Yes they are upscaled, but the 1080 makes a massive difference in terns of crisp quality, the render quality is the most important to me not textures.

So play the damn game at 720p. You know what having higher resolution gets you in an FPS? Sniping. That's it. I used to play Halo on my first laptop at 640x480 and it didn't impede my gameplay at all.

As far as Dust is concerned, it's out of juice. It isn't powerful enough to accommodate the vision CCP have for this game. In it's current state it's barely reaching 30 FPS. The engine is creaking and it's affecting the gameplay negatively (input lag, small FOV).

Please understand the PS3 is using 10 year old GFX and CPU, of course the console is dying, no sain person would think its not... hence the PS4 next year and the new Xbox. want to unsult me? fine go ahead be like that but you cant change the fact for the last 3 years consoles are looking uglier and more people are going to PC'S. 5 years ago the only guys you got playing WoW were us geeks and now you have the common everyday console gamer playing WoW and LoL. So dont unsult me for saying the PS3 is dying when it clearly is, dust 514 should have been made for the PS4, imagine how amazing it would have looked with a modern gfx card and 8 gig of ram in 1080? better, bigger, way more epic...

We have higher input lag, smaller field of view, lower frame-rate, smaller rendering distances. Graphics/tech specs are important and they do impact game-play whether you like it or not.
