Thirded, and I'm gonna doubt the idea that the OP plays EvE based on the idea that if he DID play he'd know that with every update the game and "Blur" (<---Wtf?) gets better, so with time the game will improve. If he really did play any CCP game for any period of time, then this thread would've never existed.

In regards to console gamers not sticking around in MMO games.
FFXI was a MMORPG for Console that can be played on PS2, and Xbox 360 as well as on PC all in one world. Looks great for its age and I still play it from time to time. I still take my PS2 out and play FFXI. Dont forget there are other MMO games out there for consoles and those tend to be played for a long time. Some people will leave for the new cookie cutter FPS game but those who see DUST as an MMO will most likely remain.

The PS3 can render in true full 1080p with 100% render however very few games utilize this. You can tell if a game does true 1080p if the game auto runs in 1080p without having to force it by turning off 720p as a console resolution. Games that do this are FF13 and Ghostbusters. Games that fake it but can be forced are like Sims 3 for ps3.

Chromosome looked like it was having its resolution being rendered at 480p and then upscaled to 720p. However now it looks like true 720p. The graphics and shaders look a lot better but i am a lot happier with the true 720p resolution.

I play on a 120hz 42" 1080p sony television. The game looks great now with uprising.
The only thing regarding controls I thinks needs fixing is the controls deadzone area needs to be smaller. Setting sensitivity to 0 removes the deadzone bu then you don't move as quickly so im kinda stuck on 50/50 for controls. Makes me only accurate at mid to short ranges and worse at longer ranges.

When the PS4 comes out odds are DUST514 will get a resolution update for that console at true 1080p and possibly a better frame rate. I dont expect the graphics to get super better then were they are. I think the graphics are now great for the game. they just need to optimize stability.

Also I bet CCP already has the programming method for the PS4 and are already working on the conversion for it to work. I would be surprised if DUST didn't come out for PS4 within the consoles 1st year.

Texture loading is a problem with Unreal Engine 3, not the game itself. Every game I've played using the UE3 had the same issue.
