About 10 or 12 games in and i just can't get back to having a 3.0 or 4.0 k/d. **** Half the time i don't even have a 1.0. I used to play the game 3 or 4 hours a day and now i can't get myself to play for more than an hour. Hoping i can get a feel for it after my beach graduation trip.
If no i'll be moving on.
Man i loved the **** out of this game before uprising. |

Man i loved the **** out of this game before uprising. Several of the people that complained most vocally about aiming have adapted.
As to bugs with aiming, CCP has already said they are working on those. |

Out of curiosity, KBM or DS3?
Because aiming with a mouse is bugged and will be fixed soon sans TM. |

So why are people adapting if there are still bugs? To re adapt again?
Like i stated before i'll give ccp some time and get everything straightened out 1 more time before giving it a try to "adapt" |

They added acceleration, and there are some weird issues for some people with Aim Assist. Try having it both on and off - whichever you're currently trying, do the opposite. It defaulted to on with the new build, because apparently someone thought that was a better idea than letting us set up our controls how we want them and keep our settings saved. In my case, having Aim Assist off makes CQC literally impossible, but I've heard some players can't aim even remotely competently with it turned on, and had to turn it off.
Also, adjust your sensitivity, unlike in Chromosome, it actually makes a difference. Even at max, there's acceleration, but the higher you turn the sensitivity, the less the acceleration will affect your aim. You should be able to find a position where it's functional - it may not be comfortable, but it should be bearable.
They have at least reduced the deadzone to an acceptable level, which is a good thing. |

I have noticed Ambush is more heavy in proto gear then before the update....and more games are full of the 10 or so corp regulars with far less unknown and corpless players.
It would seem that your several who adopted is a small number compared to those who left....and those several are only the ones who have vested heavily in the seniority biased SP/level pyramid scheme.
They can't leave otherwise "all that time i wasted". |
