I messed up with this new format. I really need to respect. Is there a way or are they just going to let us do it when game comes out on the 14th? Tyvm I'm so mad at wasting skill points and spending them in wrong spot with new format it almost makes me want to just quit lol |

If the CPM truly intends to represent the Dust community then I would hope that they recognize the recent groundswell of support for a SP respec on the 14th of May. I would ask that each member publicly support the recent player's initiative to get this done. Thanks. I'll be the first to start. You'll be happy to know that a full respec following an adjustment to the skill tree in order to reduce the overall SP requirement back in the direction of Chromosome-level train times was actually one of the primary "must-do" items on the CPM's agenda. Not only that, I think there is a strong possibility that we will see this, and see this within the month. No promises or dates here yet - but based on the positive reception from CCP I think this is quite likely at this point, enough to say so publicly.

Not on May 14th because CCP doesn't exactly have a respec button, but you may luck out in that they messed up some skills and may be providing another optional respec soon. Either way, don't get used to it.
What CCP really needs to do is provide a big warning message when someone goes to spend their first skill point, stating that all points spent are final. Nearly every other game has a respec option and that's what people are used to so during the first few matches they tend to experiment expecting there is a way to get them back. |

Why don't they put a permanent respect in the game for like 250k a pop or so like most MMOs |

I would be very happy if they allowed us to respec.
I agree that if you **** up you should live with the consequence. However I find that this is an exception as so many people had no idea what to expect and as the game has changed a lot, it would be prudent to let us respect a FINAL time due to the changes.
I DO think CCP should help tell us about changes. I had no idea the whole gameplay was going to change. I kinda miss chromosome.
Oh by the way, before uprising getting proficient with vehicles was easy with my 8m SP, now this time around I used my entire 8m + SP just on the Assault Dropship. I had no idea the skills would increase so drastically. Things like this CCP needs to do better with telling people. |

So what other changes are coming from now to the release next week. Heard 64 player matches was one. I really like the updated graphics and the shooting is much smoother on uprising. The sensitivity default is a bit low but that is ok. |
