I am running an advanced (not proto) AV fit, and I kill most tanks and dropships in 3-4 volleys of Swarm... except when the tanker/pilot has really invested in his/her tank or dropship, And I think it should be that way. I haven't looked at the price of tanks for this new build, but I imagine it must be costly to truely invest in them. Cheap tanks and dropships are a breeze to blow, I can always tell who has put serious investment in their vehicles or not. |

You probably kept that DS from doing anything the pilot wanted to do effectively. Plus; if I spent the entire match trying to take down 1 enemy, they could probably lead me on a wild goose chase too, regardless of them being in a vehicle or on foot. That would not be a good reason to say the weapon I used in the effort was UP.
That is a good valid point, never though of it that way, many time did I cause tanks and dropships to retreat giving my squad valuable time on the field to advance. Scare tactics.  Lol, I have used often similar tactics when faced with tight infantry groups, throw in a grenade and watch them run for dear life as they try to escape an AV grenade. Haha, never gets old. |

Nice I need to make myself a cheaper fit as I'm not making any isk right now... but I love my advanced Swarm so much. |
