This is just an idea, now that we have the ability to recall our own vehicles maybe we could have a mechanic that allows us to recall/capture our enemiesGÇÖ vehicles (modules n'all) after we hack them. Just saying it would be pretty cool and make for more strategic gameplay.

That would be a pretty cool idea. Give us a reason to hack instead of blowing everything up. But I know I use the basic unlimited LAV. Wouldn't be like I'm loosing anything.. |

Strategy wise it could be like: damage a tank so its pilot bails, then get logis in to repair, hack then recall.
I don't know I just want my enemy to be more cautious bringing ADS's or HAV's in, and the ability to keep what I hack.
It would/could give rise to dedicated vehicle recall squads, which would diversify Dust outside of the generic scout shotty, Heavy HMG roles we have going right now. |

Yeah I stole some dude's dropship flew around a bit to see the changes in handling and then all I could really do was fly it as high as I could then bail out, would have been nice to be able to land it and steal it completely. |

That is a great idea. Not only for the profit of scavenging other players gear. But also to get att hold of certain builds. If you have a nemesis in vehicular combat, this would be great way to get a hold of that players tactic, steal ideas or build countermeasures.
That also makes for a deeper meaning than just loosing a vehicle!
Contra espionage in some kind of farfetched way! |

Right, I didn't even think of it like that, it opens up meta-game to a degree, a new way to think about playing and changes the mentality/decision making process of the vehicle users side of the game.
Come on CCP, you know it makes sense. |

Yea I can agree with this, being an avid tanker in any game. I would probably rage if I got shot while I was waiting for the RDV to drop my HAV, then the enemy recalling it for my secret fitting. As for damaging me and making me jump out. That will not happen lol. I brought in my tank, I am sure as hell going to go down with it. Unless it is a militia tank that has no fitting worth anything to me XD. |

Who wouldnt want to find out how other guys run their fits. This would be so awesome. And yet i wish there was some way to investigate people's builds on their suits as well.
Maybe one day something like that can be implemented into salvage, not only is 50% of what they usded in salvage up for grabs, but it is a complete suit, being able to know who was using it. Seeing the wreckage of their modules and researching other viable loadouts.
Very cool Thanks Kage |

+1 I tried this out yesterday in hope that it was a feature in the build. Nope. Would love to see it though. |

The problem with this idea is any blueprinted vehicles. Now me and a friend can just go off to an unused corner of the map and produce a ton of cheap frames to flood the market with. |

I dont understand what you mean until we get a player market there would be no financial advantage to this and even then cheap fits aren't going to be worth much so constantly making milita vehicles and loosing them gives the player stealing them a small financial benefit but most people arent going to bother stealing cheap fits just the expensive ones. |

Really like this, make perfect sense and will encourage people stealing stuff.
Would love to kill an Assault DS pilot before he get in, or a LAV driver with a AV grenade(without blowing the LAV).
