Theres no need to require a button press to see who killed me. When I die I want respawn with minimal button presses. Either remove the killed by screen or make it on an auto timer. |

Agreed. CCP promised it would be clearer and faster to get back into battle. It's not.
Also, when you change a suit, the act of changing it should start the respawn counter. Now you have to press X after changing a suit.
And audio feedback when you start spawn counter would be geat, too. |

the loading duration of the 'who killed me' screen is unnecessarily long AND hitting a button to close a sometimes amusing screen to get to cry for help is complicating things more then it helps.

Yeah I dunno WHAT CCP are thinking. So now they expect ME to press a BUTTON to get back into the game? There's a fine line between friendly exercises and menu navigation, but this is overkill. I think if I were to change any one thing about the game this is it, this is really what is hindering my experience. I can't be bothered to be pressing buttons everytime something happens. ATTN: CCP: If you want to make a good game just remove all the places where we need to press buttons duh. |

Wait for map to load. Press X for respawn.
Wait for fittings window to load. Once it finally loads, press X on the fitting you want.
Wait for the little circle to spin. Respawn countdown.
Total button presses: A minimum of 3 to get back into battle. Varies depending on how many times you spammed O.
New way: Press X to close the kill info and bring up the map. Meanwhile, you still bleed out with teammates being able to revive you, while you can now look at the map and see how you're team is doing.
Press [Triangle] to Auto Deploy. Alternatively, if there is a Drop Uplink or objective, press X to spawn on it.
Optional: Press [Square] to open your selection of fittings.
Press X to confirm that fitting.
Total button presses: A minimum of 2 to get back into battle. 4 if you choose a different fitting.
Not to mention, you can choose a fitting, decide where to spawn, and see how your team is doing while you are bleeding out. This way, you still get info while waiting for a rez.
Or you can just go to the map, press Triangle to spawn. Which by the way, is faster than pressing a button to confirm your death, then having to wait for a "the-world-is-ending" fadeout and sound effect, then having to wait for the map to load up.

It would be nice if the kill screen were an option you could toggle, but I don't see it as being intrusive to the point where I need to whine about it. |

this.. the kill stats are only useful for shoving in our face how far away the person was who killed us and what they used, honestly?, I could care less about it, but by the same token, it clearly illustrates how badly HMGs (what I run) were nerfed in uprising.
the spawn interface, while pretty is totally unintuitive, cumbersome and a hindrance to getting back into the battle quickly unless you don't intend on changing fits for the entire battle...
I would rather have the old screen back myself, it was 1000 times better than the fluff we have now.

I like the kill screen because it gives you information the feed doesnt. it gives you a glimpse of how that person is fit, more then just what weapon they are using and the obvious 'type' of suit.
i do however agree with OP and the extra buttons presses. when i go down i want to be able to call for help as soon as possible without having to navigate a kill screen. but dont get rid of the kill screen.... just.... put it as a timer as someone suggested. idk. |

But I'm not opposed to making the kill screen optional if it bothers you that much.
