Game comes out soon why not let people play around with the new build and test out some stuff and see if they like it. Is CCP really getting hurt from doing another reset? It would make a lot of people happy i think and also i hope a ton of people learned to read and do a bit of research before blowing all of their points. The worst thing that can happen is yet another person blow their SP and mess up.
I myself am still sitting on 4 million SP because i didn't have much time to look over the stuff yesterday. I want to make sure i spend it all correctly.
So really my question is why is it a bad idea to have one last reset at launch?
Thoughts?

I don't want to bother. I just put my points where I want them, why should I have to spend another couple hours doing it again? |

It's not a bad idea but people would still complain.
Honestly the only bad idea here is that CCP had the 3 weapons being added next week ready for this respec but decided to hold them off so they could have something special for launch. |

I got my points exactly where I want them so this wouldn't effect me, but I don't see the harm and it makes sense since it will be the official launch. |

Well the only reason i have is all the players were warned by pretty much everyone that you should slow down and not waste all your SP, and they did it anyways :P So why give them another chance? Atleast they still HAVE their SP, its just not allocated like they should have.
Kinda like buying something on ebay, you dont do your research, you mess up. No second chances |

It only took me about 15 minutes to figure out where I wanted everything, and that's including time comparing the new Logi suits to decide what to skill towards.
How in New Eden did it take you a couple hours? |

The skill system would be the same. I'm not sure why it would take hours to do it over again? Are you referring to placing skill points in areas and finding out you don't like the path you went?
Using the same system i don't understand why it would take more than 15 or 20 minutes when you know exactly what path you want to take. If you take another path the reset would only help you.

The upcoming 'optional' aurum/merc pack refund is the LAST. It's up to the individuals to decide if they want their precious aurum back and face a character reset, or stick it out and quit bitchin |

I have heard about this type of optional thing. Do you happen to have a source for this? I have heard it elsewhere so i trust you i would just like some more information on the upcoming options. |

Here's the thing. CCP isn't done with the game. they are going to make future buffs/nerfs. So, Heavies are nerfed right now. People who spec'd heavy hate it, and want out.
Ok, so you go AR/assault suit. Next patch, if they buff the crap out of heavies, and nerf AR's and assault suits, poof.
Stop chasing the flavor of the month, and stick with what suits your playstyle. eventually, you'll have enough SP to get everything, but for now, just be patient, play the game, hit your caps, and hope CCP dispatches justice quickly. |

I dont really care either way, u know whatever. What i kinda hope for is all our kills be whiped since we havent been getting stats for skirmishes in forever and now the new build wont give you any stats regardless. If not ob well. Im not gonna make a big deal out of it. I just think it would be right. |

Yup, it took me a couple hours because I went slowly and tested everything that I was skilling into in a match before spending more SP there. I ended up with a build for my character I really like, and I don't have any wasted SP, unlike many people. |
