Don't blame ccp, blame the airheads who were boasting about making 20+mil aur profit from the aur refunds. Basically saying 'hey ccp, I'll have 20 mil aurum and I won't have to buy anymore aurum for a LONG time'. No aurum sales means ccp does not get paid. And considering this is a free game......their income comes from the sale of aurum and merc packs. No monthly fee, no $15 per map pack, no added costs for new features/weapons/suits etc. So how else are they supposed to make money? Do you think it doesn't cost money to run the servers? To pay the employees?

would have been nice to get my AUR for my sever suit as i didn't spec into minmatar. I do not blame CCP, I blame the players that tried to take advantage of CCP. And I Sooooo happy that those players got nothing back. Go steal from someone else.

On the off chance that CCP doesn't keep transaction records (why they wouldn't is beyond me) then limit the refund to one of each item per account. |

i petitioned this. i bought my raven of the market for aurum just 2 weeks ago and they refused a refund because it was a long time ago part of a merc pack. why should i have to suffer because ccp cant get its aurum product placing and prices right. if its in a merc pack it should have stayed there and the prices should have remained the same. its their problem not ours but we have to suffer for it.
i think i have the wallet transactions to prove it but they just dont care. they have our money now and thats all they seem to care about |

yes a suit which the skill requirements have been drasticly increased on which leaves me with 2 options. use the item but to do so use loads more sp than it used to require and sealing my fate in the caldari suit tree or dont use it and end up with a useless item i have essentially payed real money for. neither option is a choice i should have to make |

It's NOT a legitimate argument against the BPO refund, just like "because skillpoints" isn't a legitimate argument against refunding everything except Boosters in the Merc Pack. |

So many companies lately im blacklisting. LOL! Until the Merc Pack issue has already been pushed through by CCP, I'm not blacklisting them. I still have hopes for DUST to resolve its stupidity. Other than that, all I have blacklisted is Ubisoft (who I stopped buying from a couple of years ago) over the fact that their Support teams make EA Help look amazing instead of the barely-competent they actually are. |

A refund for the purchased Sever/Raven BPOs alone wouldn't generate a profit anyhow, there's no economy of scale on that end. |

So as of now unless the racial\SP requirements are dropped then they are expensive REAL MONEY suits hanging in my wardrobe that I cant use because overnight i can't fit into them |

Simple. They can reimburse BPO's that were bought after certain date. I bought it for 19k Aur and I want those back. I wont be using that suit. I had no choice. I was obligated to go Minmatar. Now that I can chose I wont touch Minmatar tech ever again.

Hang on here, lemme esplain a lil something to youse chowderheads.
Back in the closed Beta, most militia gear BPOs were 30-60 AUR. and the BPO suits were cheaper than current prices.
So when CCP announced they were raising the prices on the open beta release, many of us bought the BPOs and some of us bought multiples.
Here's why I did it...I figured that once we were able to trade amongst ourselves I'd be able to sell my BPO copies and make some PROFIT.....you know...that thing that dirves the entire EvE universe.
This was not an exploit, this was just smart playing on our parts. It's risk vs reward.
So, we're going to make money EITHER WAY. The only question here is "how much".
The players didn't do anything that was wrong, or immoral...CCP screwed up.
It's an oldie, but it's a goody....don't hate the player, hate the game....developers. |

Don't paint over it, Player greed is what screwed things up. If people hadn't thrown $$$ in the hope of a fast buck, we'd all have seen refunds. |

And if CCP hadn't gotten greedy and raised prices then we wouldn't have done it.
You're trying to put the cart before the horse, sonny jim, and that simply doesn't work.
