I've seen very little but QQing on the changes that happened this build.
Ranges nerfed, damage nerfed. I'm getting pwned now. The list of negative 'I want things they way "I" liked them masquerading as community ideas is laughable.
CCP I implore you not to listen to most of these people.
Your graphics update is great, your new structures look pretty damn wicked inside and out. The Base Frame with Specialised Frames on top could do with some tweaking, but overall, the idea is good.
I find, once I got used to the different control scheme, my controller game and KB / M Game actually improved over last build. Lag is better. I'm playing on Dial-up Speed due to net being shaped, and from Australia on US and EU servers, and STILL going Positive KDR in most matches.
There ARE some rough edges, but please, I want you to know you have done ALOT right this build. And don't cave in to the QQing Heavies, because there are Heavies out there who've already adapted and kicking arse, rather than crying and rerolling a different class.
I seriously cannot wait until May 14th for Planetary Conquest, and even Net capped, I know I can still contribute.
Keep up the great work, sand off the few rough edges, and I hope to see even more content coming in the future. |

Fact is I have played heavies. And while I haven't specced into them this time around due to excessive SP requirements to get into and outfit a decent suit for Planetary Conquest, the people I have played heavies beside have said to me that though they keenly feel more limitations than they did before... they still do well with them.
And as stated before, they are Australian, playing from Australia, on US and EU Servers, where we suffered a minimum 200 m/s input lag in previous builds.
Sure, they aren't posting the 30 / 1 or 35 / 0 Scorecards they used to, but they still do very well in most matches.
And, there are a few US guys I know who have no real qualms about them either.

Bumping, because amidst the complaints about justified bugs, weapon nerfs and the other 'rough edges, CCP did still do a lot right in this build, and while there is more to do, they shouldn't lose sight of the fact that some things they did are great. |
