Let me give you a pro tip. Whining and bitching only work with your mom. When you were little. And that might be the only time in your life where it is actually appropriate. Adults who do that in the business world are commonly found at the bottom of any corporate hierarchy.

If you want to be successful in anything- keep your eye on the goal and work towards it. Why hose your goal by turning off everyone to you? That is all whining and bitching accomplishes... so...?

You told me yes back then, now that we're playing it, most of the people I know say no. The bulid + Release are rushed to meet a deadline, 5/14. All to have a "cool" date. Like Skyrim that had 11.11.11, but was buggy as hell at release. The build has soooo many problems that if even one QA guy would sit and try it out he could point them out.

Content isn't the issue. The issue is that CCP broke the game. Aiming sucks. Hit detection is worse. Aim assist doesn't work properly. M/K support doesn't work properly. All weapons have stupid low ranges. Armor tanking isn't viable at all even though CCP said it would be for Uprising. Frame rate is still terribad. Balancing in general is still terrible. And the list goes on and on. Is this really what you want to release with CCP? ^

There are high regarded game reviewers that if they get this game in its current condition will destroy DUST 514, and CCP with reviews in all your favorite mags like Game informer, playstation mag, etc. However fixing things should be the priority and feedback helps do that. I do feel it was a little rushed but that's to be expected, I would rather push the release date and bring a quality first gen game to market than a severely bugged game at launch with patch promises.

There are some flaws, people aren't saying there aren't. But the game is hardly "unplayable." It was pretty bad before when you'd get killed in 1 second by a Viziam with 3 or 4 complex damage mods from sniper rifle range. Also, armor tanking isn't completely boned, my squad has been running some plated Gallente armor suits with a logi dude running a proto rep tool, and its funny as **** trying to watch someone take that on. And then you come to the world of gaming, where the only way to do anything is to talk with your wallet and scream very loudly and clearly what is wrong. And its very true, the devs aren't really talking, they have things that marketing people allow them to say and don't allow. Even the CPM doesn't have the ability to directly speak with developers without being bogged down with marketing people not to say this or that.

It's definitely not ready for release at this time. We'll probably see fixes and changes within a couple weeks or perhaps sooner if they still plan on releasing next week. I'd push it back if I were them though.
