I love it, a little expensive though maybe. Im just wondering if there is a way to invert the 3rd person gun aiming, pretty sure I tried everything. |

the DSes (or at least the STD and Logi) are bugged in the market place, it should be half the cost they are now. |

They need to make first person mode able to aim the gun up and down.
Aiming the Assault ds gun in third person is crap and in first you can't really move the aim at all. |

i dont mind the 1st person view, good for strafing runs. but yea would be a nice addition and would make frontal blasters pretty evil |

Assault Dropships are a fun ship but the front turret system needs alot of work. I think it needs a little bit of a auto aim system you get it aimed at a person and it takes over slightly aiming side to side to follow that person as long as you keep tracking your dropship. once AV starts pounding you you can not really hit anyone.
Missiles need a splash radius buff of 25% across the board. From there I think dropships will start getting back into the right place.
Going to make a big post covering alot of this stuff soon maybe today or tomorrow.
Currently the forge also needs a slight damage reduction the damn proto breach is back and of coarse it fucks **** up.
CCP made it so we have to dedicated around 13m+ into dropships alone before we can start branching out. so that does mean they need to be more of a influence yet.

You know how you can aim the turret down a little bit in third person? That's all I'm saying, currently in first person it's totally fixed.
In third the turret has limited movement independent of the ship's movement.
In first the turret has NO independent movement, outside the ship's movement.

my quote was based on FP view BTW, I`m fully aware of the aim donw in 3rd man view since I used it and got kills.
also to the comment above this 1 (not in quotes) the rail guns need direct damage buff more then missile splash. |

Is it just me or do rail installations have a faster rotation speed and fire rate? I've had numerous occasion when one shoots me, I start trying to maneuver and activate a module and I get hit again before I can even activate a module. |

The turret AI actually has infinite tracking speed, so good luck trying to dodge that. |
