So I was wanting to know everyone's thoughts on the death screen (map version) so far?
When you die you go through the kill stat, and then into the death-map. If you look closely you can see a skull where you died, and then a timer. I think this leads to better awareness of your surroundings. I haven't messed with it, but there may be some other utility here like the ability to give orders....?
Anyway, when you get into this screen you can call for help, but you can also have a little bit better awareness than squad mates of the exact placement of other players and maybe even see things that killed you and know that it isn't worth waiting to be revived (or maybe is).
So what are your thoughts and tips for this so far? I think its an improvement so far, but the detection of the revive indicator doesn't seem reliable. |

what I liked at the old death screen was the fadeout into greyscale, the ability to see what was going on around ones dieing self was also nice because IF someone came to revive, one would have some situational awareness. the map and its low zooming capabilities make that impossible and if there is some invulnerability after being revived (I wouldn't know, it didn't happen to me, I guess because it just doesn't work as intended, judging from other posts and experience) I wouldn't know if it helps to get that amount of info before it wears of (by moving, correct?)
the stats on my killer and his equipment are nice but help me not in battle and serve only on purpose, to have me wait until it loads, amuse me for a very brief time, have me push a button to get me to the next button i need to cry for help and therefore wastes my and a nearby medics time. If I would read the stats that would use up my bleed out time (correct me if I am wrong) and lessens my chance of keeping my suit and equipment.
I also change suits many times a match. A list (that actually displays a list of my suits not just the recent one, until I push another button) would help greatly so I could change quicker.
That for the first spawn the favourite suit is chosen and afterwards the recent one is not new, is it?
tl;dr old better, now complicated, me sad |

Not a fan of the new screen, I'd rather know whats happening around my corpse so when, (if) I'm revived I know where to start throwing the lead |

the new death screen is greater to work with while defending a null cannon. |

It took some getting used to as far as pressing the right buttons to re-spawn or call for help. Not a problem once you get used to it. That being said, I liked being able to see what was going on around my fallen clone. As Bonkers and Blammo said, it really helped the player to make a strategic decision whether or not to wait for a pick-up.
New death screen is fancy and all, don't get me wrong. It looks cool as hell, but it is not functional. Maybe make an option to switch between the two. |

All you have to do is get used to the new screen and not press triangle if you see a triage unite that gives you how far they are away.
Its better then before. I like it... Plus I dont see why people hate the stats they give after you die.. Just skip it, stop crying about it on forums |

My only complaint is that no one calls for help, so when they go down unless ive witnessed it i havent got a clue!
Please, please, please press the 'CALL FOR HELP' Button.. Or stay dead.
