Logi's don't get as many WPs as people think. The best way to earn massive WP is to stick two gunners in a tank and put the defend order on the tank.
It's insane how fast the WPs pile up.
But to answer your question guardian has always been hit or miss, along with the triage points when healing. Sometimes I don't get the points on the first dude I heal in a match. I just do it to try and win the match, I've given up trying to figure out the WP system. |

Sometimes it works when I'm beaming infantry in combat, sometimes it gives me a simple triage bonus instead.
I'm not feeling the "I'm making a difference and helping people out" other games with healing abilities online give me. |

I have to agree. I've been a dedicated Logi even before the game went open beta and it feels worse off now than ever. Locking targets feels very buggy. I barely get any points throughout matches for Triage. I have not seen the Guardian points pop up at all yet. Reviving is next to impossible now. The life of a logibro feels empty and pointless... I'm sad. |

I got guardian points last night. The reduction in those is coming from how it's taking so much longer to kill people, which winds up meaning people are focusing fire to bring targets down. You don't get guardian points if the guy you're repping only got an assist. I also found using repair tools to be a lot easier. Hold down the trigger until the reticule changes to a square. You'll instantly lock on to the first thing that passes through that box. It's much faster to switch targets with the rep tool now.
Reviving is confusing as hell though. I'm pretty sure half of the problem is that people don't realize injector users won't even see them on the map unless they go to the spawn screen, select their body and press x. |

The tank situation doesn't really help a LogiBro. On the other hand if you use drop uplinks and nanohives then people give you points every time some one spawns on your link and gets a resupply. I ran several matches last night at the top of the Battle Board with 1500+ WP from using the gear mentioned. Also if you use a needle as well, thats another 60WP every time you pick a player up, 72 if you have a defend order near or on you. Logistics done correctly earn a lot of WP. If you try following your squad and putting ammo and reps out when needed you should have no trouble with a bit of practice. |

I used to always get guardian points, which u only get if the person you are repping KILLS someone. Haven't got it a single time since the new build, but never thought much of it. One thing to note is that triage points are ONLY obtained if the person you are repping has recently damaged an enemy. |

Sorry to come in here and disagree, but I got plenty of Guardian bonuses when I played last night. Are you sure the person you were healing didn't get their kills stolen? (you get nothing if they get an assist). Also, I'm not entirely sure of the mechanics, but I think you temporarily 'cap out' on triage and guardian points after a bit. I think you need to get some kills yourself, then go back to healing and you will continue to get support points. |

That used to be the case last build. It's hard to revive now, and gauged Drop Uplinks are gone until proto, so the most reliable way to earn WPs now would be Triage which has a cap, resupply which has a cap, or killing the enemy, which you can do with Res and your main weapon. It's alot harder to earn WP now as a bro if you suck at killing. |

If you want to rack up WPs make sure you are the squad leader. Make sure you have a tanker. Make sure there are gunners in the tanker. Put the defend order on the tanker.
You can run around and try to adapt to the new mechanic of reviving downed teammates or whatever you want to do. In the meantime at least you'll get 2 or 3 orbitals while you try to figure out where the downed teammates are. In between the 14th and 15th stab to revive the person you can take a break to drop the orbital on the approaching red dots that are trying to kill you. |

Same problem here. I can't feel a difference in getting team resupply points or triage points (still hoping for a redo of these points so the "cap" can be redone in some way) and as long as i've played (only came in a month after open beta went up) the guardian points have always been a lucky punch you may or may not get. (why i have no idea ??????)
Getting a lot of points i've always counted on being able to rep the teammates i came across whether it gave points or not and then reviving them when downed and resupplying them when they asked for it. Repping a person while being in a fight should definitely be way more productive than it is now. 25 hp/s for a standard repper -.- ..... (flux repair tool) COME ON !!! repping a preferably heavy should make them really tough to kill without having to skill all the way up to the proto repper that does more than 100hp/s. Give some kind of high rep per tick repper at the lower levels but make them damm close range.
Won't even comment on nanite injectors. Benny hill is still getting ready to play every time i'm going for a revive as that fancy icon is nowhere to be found.
Definitely don't want the logi to become a slayer. So give us the tools to get wp's without having to go slayer mode every other second. |
