I dont see the reason that should bother anyone other than snipers. I understand the issue with being secretive but most action doesnt even happen until ~75m anyways. Plus my Forge Gun cant fire beyond 300m so I can't find the issue. (If the 300m is max render distance that is)

I could care less about ladder animations(case in point halflife). Its just so halfassed like ccp wants better frames and less ppl rendered so they tailor the guns to only hit ppl when your right ontop of them. What the hell man!!!! like we all know you are using dated technology, thats fine. Just for the love of all that is good and holy make the game a shooter, you know where you shoot people!
ppl need to be rendered and you need to have the range to hit them.
lore and crap like that are infinitely dumb when you have a sniper rifle that is a miniature rail gun and like right before it hits the un-rendered invisible man the shot disappears in a black hole and the sniper shot disappears. |

Cant help but notice I saw IMPSwarm, Imperfects Internal Error looking like a rather mediocre corp last night in the games I saw them in (still upper portion of the list, but any squad with 6 decent folks would be tops) with some GASP negative k/d, and I see a ton of IMP QQ threads about the new build.
Pub stomping not quite as easy when they can shoot back?

yo man, i didn't have a problem at all, and crap, could care less about k/d or whatever. You surely cannot like the fact that ccp limited the draw distance of enemies and made all guns have such limited ranges you have to be right next to them to hit them? surely you cannot support that. |

the farther away you are the less people you will see, they will be there but they are not rendered. |

To be honest, your actual OP is fine, if its true, good bug report. Its the other IMP dudes coming in with stuff like
"That and E3 build was more fun Lol" that I was referring to. Seems like every thread I go in, I see that kinda random negativity.
The limited ranges of guns is a bit debatable. But then again I spent last night using the Tact AR, which felt fine. I think everyone needs to chill on the range issue till we see how the Scrambler Rifle plays out.
EDIT: Its also sad if they cant handle rendering 32 folks. I could see issues like this in a completely open world game like PS2 where you could have hundreds or thousands, but 32? |

A: a good portion of folks are running starter gear to get a feel for things and getting run over by Duvolle
B: don't let your hatred/dislike for IMP/IE/Negative Feedback cloud your judgement of a thread/post overall value...a lot of them know what they are talking about when it comes to FPS mechanics...they just lack likability and PR skills. |

I wasn't having any issues early on, but then I started getting graphic artifacts at the bottom of the screen, they kind of looked like flames from the Old Windows Media Player Visualizations. Once I started getting those, then disappearing players started to happen. It was real strange and random. Sometimes, they would just disappear as they ran off (Looking through a sniper scope), then other times when I wasn't using my sniper scope I couldn't see anyone further than probably 200M, not even the caret above teammates heads. But if I zoomed in, I could see the caret, but no player. In two matches I even had an issue where the caet and Shield/Armor bars appeared to be "in the ground", then when they got closer the player would just appear. It's just been one strange graphics glitch after another. Very weird stuff. |

I saw one where two squad mates were in an LAV, and they had green markers following them a good 10-20M behind them. then when they got out the markers caught up. That's about it for strangeness. I'll look for more draw distance issues, should be easy to spot since im a coward and fight at range with the tact. |

You can see people phase in and out like phantoms at certain distances. Yeah, not all of imperfects are like that just most of us most of the time :P |

Yea Enigma I can confirm seeing this last night. On the new manus peak I could not see enemies that were in the open on C when I was at B. It was kinda funny actually....in a sad sort of way. |

I got lucky and made a 450+ meter headshot with a sniper rifle on a model that actually rendered, once. Could see maybe twelve pixels total every frame. Minutes before that I struggled shooting at red chevrons of invisible matter in an open flat field from 100 to 330 meters away.
My theory based on knowledge of the engine is that the map files carry stuff from the old versions with them since sometimes I see people 300m (or other distance value) away when there's LOS for a straight shot, be it a turret zoom or a sniper rifle or a naked eye, and sometimes I don't.
Perfectly clear line of sight, sometimes I see my friendlies running in circles around A, but never the enemies. Until I get like in assault-rifle range. |

i also see random red dots on my map that are not there. or even see a red name suit run by me and there is no one there... its just the game acting wonky.
these new maps also have old map parts still around and cause me to get stuck more often when moving... ugh...
i thought this game was getting polished? not just graphical... maps need polished (smooth, we have shiny now) we just need smooth overall...
wtf is up with the damn input lag for switching weapons and grenades? its different wait times every time i try to switch ... wtf |

Yeah we already had the NE bashing discussion in this thread. A lot of the complaining does seem to be coming from their camp, but this thread isnt one of them.
Also not sure if this is related bug or not: But yesterday I saw a red dot on my radar, rad icon on my map, even had the player name. But nobody was there. Very strange. |
