But I imagine that the slow plexing in EVE shouldn't have a negative effect on the Dust matches because the longer the plexes are being run the more times a single district should be attacked in that time frame, correct? Unless no one in EVE is plexing in a system with Districts...

But basically, does completing ANY plex anywhere help generate locations to fight at? Will novice plexes generate at the same rate as large? Does defensively completing a plex also generate open districts? If so, it could disincentivize plexing defensively as it could hurt you. Also, depending on their server load during the update, I wonder if resources aren't prioritized toward FW battles atm.

Is it on completion, or if they are in limbo? What if nobody is around...? What if you fly to every system opening up every plex.

If you have ever worked at a job dealing with implementation of projects, the day it releases is the most stressful and time consuming days. You tried so hard to make it go as smooth as possible, but there are always going to be issues. CCP is, I'm sure, working very hard at making all corrections to any errors that are found in release.

At least that's what the blog conveyed. I don't care about frequency. I didn't mention frequency... My point is WHAT should I do to generate district battles in an area and does size matter? Do i need to finish complexes? Does doing certain ones help more than others? Does just opening them matter? Does it matter if a defender or attacker opens the complexes? Do you have to kill the NPC inside? Etc...

Does me defensively completing a complex for my own side mean that I am now increasing the likelihood that my enemy can now take a district in my system?
