updated old Dust, later turned on the new version and was greeted by another update.
I thought the 1.3 gig update was fishy... |

no sure what you talking about...I still have just the one update. But i do find the 1347mb weird too... looks a bit small for a "full" new build. I guess we getting the rest via Dust 514 patcher later on. |

I heard elsewhere that it is 4GB, so assuming that the Dust Launcher will have another update is probably smart. |

CCP have been using a patching technology for Eve that means they only need to download changes to files, not the full files. I suppose they are using the same thing for Dust. So its not that a full Dust download is 1347mb, it is there are 1347mb of changes to files. |

Dont forget, PC hasnt been uploaded in yet, nor the weapons and all that. This is just skill tree and graphics. most probably happens as an update to the server, client side, we just need a new "road" to get to the server. |

I betcha the people of Kansas City have no problem downloading a Gig especially with fiber internett.
******* 128MB/s (1000Mb/s) downloads a whole Gigabyte in 8 seconds. That's pretty ridicules. |

if it's anything like the upgrade to Chromosome, the 1.3GB download is the game launcher. Once you can connect to the servers (in a few minutes?) there will likely be a bunch of updates of the data files. |
