Any guys going logibro now? I always wanted but Minmatar looks was a turn off for me. I fell in love with Caldari looks but damn this yellow color is so lame imo. I could go assault but I will be using that badass scrambler rifle so Caldari logistics is more beneficial for my choice. |

BTW, I suspect the yellow is to resemble danger tab, hazmat suits, etc.
Plus, it may be to help make the "medic" role more universally recognizable once we start having at least 4 different designs for them. |

The concept of eWar logi sounds reeeeeally cool. Im interested in playing this kind of role. But what does it actually mean?
Caldari logistics with uber high shield. Active scanner to provide intel for allies => definately eWar. Flux grenades => EMP bombs. Nanite injector is kind of eWAR since it is nanites resurrecting.
I would call it front line medic with capabilities to disassemble your shield.

Man, I can't wait until we get nosferatu, target painting, and other eWAR modules from EVE. Imagine being able to sap a suit's stamina so they can't sprint/jump, a vehicle's capacitor, paint targets so they stay on everyone's radar for an extended time, or even target able by missiles... eh, that might be too much. But we need more eWAR, I'd spec into it in a hot second. |

Debuffs are truly awesome, we really need something to slow down enemies from running away :-) Is this called webifier or something in EVE online? |

I like logis.. but hate yellow. Why mark out your medics in an obvious fashion to the opposing team anyway? Isn't this the tactical equivalent of giving your CO a big shiny hat with a star so enemies shoot them first? |

They brought this up during the Advancing the corepresentation. Right now the only aspect to EW is the active scanner, but in the future it will be about providing more intel on the enemy than normal, such as whther those red dots are light, medium or heavy frame. It was also hinted that we will either be able to mask our squads signature somewhat, OR that we will havee some kind of mini map scramber, but Gavin Frankle talkd about affecting what the enemy sees on their map. My fav feature that he explicitly mentioned was the ability to cut off voice comms. I guess maybe the kinectic/energy weapon weilding merc is akin to the warrior warrior class of DUST, then EW mercs could be the 'mage class'. We will affect gamplay not directly with ammo, but electronically with technology. :D Screwing with what can't be seen instead of destroying what can. |

Assault-bro reporting for duty (caldari, gotta love those extra high and low slots), but seriously the one thing I can't stand is the yellow. Why make us yellow? Now everyone will know who we are and heavies will be even that weaker, all you will have to do is kill that yellow **** running around holding onto the heavy and the whole team goes south. Hopefully there will be more assault-bros in this new build, we need to get away from this whole non-violent support logi that plagued last build. |

Proud Amarr logibro here. While I'm struggling without my third equipment slot, I'm happy to finally be able to hold my own if I am ever separated from my squad.
Yeah, yellow was a bad choice. The Amarr looks the best with it since it has a more gold hue to it... though my corp calls me goldfish now. They should have made the yellow less bright or maybe even just go tan/black. It is kind of funny whenever I pop out of cover to see ALL of the fire directed at me. |

I'm glad someone chose Amarr, I was going to also until I saw how stunted the suit was, but if someone can make do with it more power to them. How about the decrease in sprint speed (I believe it's this suit but I don't fully remember) how does that impact your play? |

Likewise. I farmed 50m ISK with my SEVER suit over the last month and frequently topped the leader board for the match, but I'm a pilot first.
However I will be back if my I can't make a profession out of flying and my bank account drains too low. If that happens I figure you all will come to a conclusion as to which suit is best. |

It probably is the Amarr because I have noticed that I fall slightly behind the pack. I don't mind it much, it gives me a chance to assess a situation and know where I'm needed most.
Imo the Amarr is the reason a lot of things were nerfed and the high sp gap for logistics. Can you imagine a proto Amarr logi with shield extenders, reppers + Amarr passive bonus, and running a mass driver with a flaylock sidearm? Sounds like a heavy's best friend to me. It has a lot of potential, it just requires proto and is expensive as a result. |
