So there's an ambiguity here. While the game is deployed, the Dust 514 virtual world is frozen. Just before it goes down, items have a price. Just after it comes up, some of those items will have a different price to before. So to say that the prices are those at time of deployment is ambiguous between these two options of pre and post deployment prices.
The dev blog states, however, that:
All ISK items will be cleared from Assets and their CURRENT ISK value added back to wallet
All AUR items will be cleared and users reimbursed with their current AUR value (with exceptions noted previously)
"Current" is a time indexical term, and so does not really clear things up. Current as of time of reading dev blog? Current at time of deployment? The former seems incorrect, and the latter suffers from the same ambiguity. I asked CCP Eterne, and he said:

I thought that cleared it up. The prices are going to be those that are immediately after Uprising is deployed, not immediately before. But now I'm not so sure. It *still* seems ambiguous to me, since the stating of "if we have changed any prices" could refer to any prices that change between now and when servers go down for Uprising. Or, it could be referring to price changes made in Uprising.
In short, I don't think it is at all clear what the refund prices will be. |

When did that happen? Our wiki had the current price on 15th March, and no other price. |

I hope you're right about that because i bought a few hundred charge sniper rifles.
He said the price is changed, not that it's going up :( I *think* its price may be going down, if we can trust that the prices in that CSV are representative of NPC market prices. In EVE Online, I think that the prices that NPC's charge do not always match the base price. Will this be true with Dust 514? I don't know, but I think it is odd that the ISK price for so many items is allegedly going down, so I wouldn't be surprised if the base price in that CSV is not the actual price we will be able to pay. |
