Yeah, it's a little confusing. If they are the same suits just with the racial bonuses, then screw that, I'll save the 3mil SP. It would also make sense with when CCP said SP prices would be about the same, as it would come out to about 2.2mil to max the frame skill. Unfortunately it appears Logi's would get screwed if this is the case, as they'd have to specialize for their suits.

Not sure is you have to max out drop suit command, but that's 155,000 if so. If you look at the drop suit upgrade skills the core skills require a ton of SP. electronics and engineering are 5x multipliers. We won't be seeing full protos for a while.

Looks like its gonna be militia for me again. I mean, I have 3 mil now and I STILL haven't unlocked proto dropsuits, what with all the necessary passive bonuses, mods, and weapons.

I only run the sever logi and standard. It is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. If it was up to me we would be all passive or only get 1/10 the active. Slow burn. To be honest I only have one proto anything and I stopped using it because it is expensive and everyone called it OP. I like the viziam but I don't even run it on a fit. Advanced is all I have.

The specialised racial suits have different slot layouts and get extra passive bonuses, though I think the other stats (CPU/PG/EHP) may be the same.

Yeah, according to the item list they have all the same stats and numbers. They don't show high or low slots for some reason though in the list. As long as it isn't a huge disparity between the slots, I'll probably still skip the specialized suits for now.

But specializing into either Assault or Logistics will take A LOT of time.
