I was under the impression that the new drop suits came on the 6th and the weapons came on the 14th. But in FoxFourGÇÖs blog he quoted feedback from the community saying:
GÇ£The skill point respec happens on May 6th, but new content (weapons, dropsuits, etc.) being released on May 14th leaves players a hard choice: Spend skill points to do good now and miss out on the new items, or save the skill points and risk missing out on the first wave of conquest.GÇ¥
So was he quoting incorrect information? Was it a typo? Was my understanding that the Dropsuit changes would come on the 6th wrong? Or are the Dropsuit changes coming on the 6th and the new Dropsuit frames coming on the 14th?
Minmitar Assault suit: The medium frame already exists in game. Will it be released on the 6th?
Caldari Logistics suit: The medium frame already exists in game. Will it be released on the 6th?
Amarr & Gallente Assault & Logistics suits: Are these new suits released on the 6th or the 14th?
Minmitar Scout suit: 6th or 14th? |

Yeah I just found out the scrambler rifle comes on the 14th and not the 6th.....uprising isn't looking anywhere near as exciting now.

if you pre-purchased the CE package, you should get the code for:
Amarr Drop Uplink (pre-purchase)
Amarr "Templar" Assault Dropsuit
Amarr "Templar" Logistics Dropsuit
Amarr "Templar" Heavy Dropsuit
Amarr Scrambler Pistol
Amarr Scrambler Assault Rifle
Amarr Laser Rifle
on the 7th according to the site.
I for one am happy to wait a day to see what skills will need bumping and if i need a "shoot someone in the face" fix i can happily do it in my starter suits.

After reading about the custom edition, it sounds like the codes come with the package when it is delivered in Oct, not emailed to you as soon as preordered. If the code was emailed to you, people could simply preorder - get the code - obtain a refund - use the in game gear. |

Not really..
The certificate you receive when you purchase the CE states that the dust code will be delivered on or about the 7th., the EvE ship code is included in that certificate and I have already gotten my EvE ship and it's in my hangar.
should someone try to follow the path you've laid out, they would find that their items would vanish from their inventory as the vendor would simply notify CCP that a code had been refunded and they would easily be able to track and remove the items.

So i just redeemed my Dust code i got. All i got was the Templar Drop Uplink and it-¦s no blueprint :(.
It was advertised as "the Amarr Drop Uplink, a permanent item spawn point generator, for DUST 514. "...so maybe
it-¦s just buggy for now and i gotta be patient.
Also, the code didn-¦t redeem anything else, no suits or weapons. |

Same, I assume the other loot isn't unlocked yet. Confirming the Templar drop uplink didn't show up as a blueprint as well. |
