No, this is serious. To joke about an exploit (not only to the game, but to take advantage of other players) is not acceptable for someone the community should put their trust in, especially when CCP cannot be trusted.

I coulnt give a **** if i tried if people afk'd. Unless CCP comes right out and says "this is an exploit, dont do it" people have the right to play how they want, especially as this build is about 8 months old and build fatigue has built up.

yes it sucks if half your team is afking but it also sucks if half your team suck, its all part of the roll'd dice. Kicking someone out, or not joining a corp because some one AFK's is just ******* stupid.

I honestly believe that most of the community doesnt give a **** about AFKers and its just a few vocal people being all bitchy because these matches doenst matter. If they where AFKing in a corp match then yes, i would have something to say, but this is just such a moot point as loads of stuff is changing in a few days anyway.

I don't really know what the CPM's exact role is, but the fact that you guys can't be bothered to play them game you are trying to build and represent kind of sours a lot of the community. Imagine a CSM member who comes on and talks about how they just AFK mine in EvE because playing EvE is just to damn boring. Oh wait that would never happen.

Nobody like the AFK mechanic. Nobody agrees it's a great idea, but it's there. The new build is coming and will fix this.

It all started a about a month ago, Nova Knife was explaining this hip new thing to me about sitting around doing nothing in the MCC while playing other games. It started with just both of us happening to AFK at the same time while playing other games like Wings of iccarus. Next thing i know im squad afking with him and 2 other dudes while playing minecraft or otherwise being productive. I had to shower for hours!

*shudders*

productivity...

However thanks to the support of this group, playing the new build and getting ratfaced drunk at fanfest, i can no longer bring myself to play the current build and im sure everything will be good as i recover from this condition. As such, its been about 2 weeks since I last AFK'd on my honour, or may i be melted down into biomass.

I don't support you - but I understand you. TBH I don't support anyone atm. No point - you guys really don't matter to us. Why people are acting like the current CPM are the top dogs is ignorance - you're just the best informed and best connected to CCP. The actual changes you will bring is probably very small - though I do have hope for you and the rest.

You guys were the best picks for the first seats imo.
