So much for the Holocon event lasting "through Thursday May 2nd" as stated. I have been getting normal rewards all day. Thanks CCP for another disappointing lack of proper communication.
The successes of this game keep getting undermined by all the failures and miscommunication. It seems like one hand has no clue what the other is doing.
I love your concepts and innovation, but it amounts to very little if you can't follow through with what you claim/state/promise. Please do the job we know you can do CCP.
Thank you |

It means up until downtime, Thursday the 2nd. Which is 11am GMT. Sucks if you lost time due to your time zone though. |

The communication you are looking for is this way ---> https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=71578&find=unread
Tho I agree a more explicit statement would have been nice in advance of the dev notice linked above. |

With regards to the 3rd poster, the communication you linked is a joke since it only specified the actual end time of the event mere hours before it ended. However, I do thank you for the link as more information is always valuable.
To address the second poster, I understand what you said but the use of the word "through" would include all of Thursday 5/2. They specifically stated ".. through Thursday May 2nd" and that is a direct quote. If the event was to end before Thursday May 2nd ended then it was incorrect to say "through". It would be more appropriate to have said "until Thursday May 2nd" or even "until downtime Thursday May 2nd".
It seems to me that much more effort could and should be expended to ensure they communicate information to us properly, clearly, and in a timely manner. If this is too much to ask then I believe it shows a lack of respect for the player base that is unfortunately all too common with the larger developers.
I have the highest respect for the creativeness and ingenuity CCP has shown, but it means much less to me when customer service is not just as high a priority. |
