Question for the Devs:
Will there be a patch for Eve Online coinciding with the release of PC on Dust, to allow the Eve Pilots to view the status of PC districts?
If so, can you briefly describe/link me to a description of where in the game that will be visible? Planet View? Sovereignty Dashboard? etc. |

But they receive bonuses to PI and POS systems due to PC ownership...that'll be a bit awkward.
Anyway, my two cents (or as we say in Canada, a nickel) worth is a PC scan layer on the PI planet view, showing district locations, ownership, and PI, plus a summary of bonuses I'm receiving from this planet. |

The way I read it, the only change they've made is that we'll be unable to purchase clone packs until the 14th. All other planned features for the 6th and the 14th remain the same. They're putting the system in place on the 6th, plus the new content that was planned for the 6th, but holding off on actually letting us purchase clone packs and holding districts until the 14th.
And because there can only be one "attack" on a district every 24 hours, the 14th/15th will be taken up with taking unclaimed territory, and the first fight (where one corp attacks a district being held by another corp) will not be until the 16th.
Which should give us plenty of time to figure out which end of a scrambler rifle to use. |

Quote:I agree that this is the most likely way to interpret the devblog, there is certainly some language that confuses the issue. For example

The skill point respec happens on May 6th, but new content (weapons, dropsuits, etc.) being released on May 14th leaves players a hard choice: Spend skill points to do good now and miss out on the new items, or save the skill points and risk missing out on the first wave of conquest.
This was in the list of things that were bad about the May 6th PC release, not what they plan to change. I'll admit I didn't think there were any dropsuits coming out on the 14th, though. |
