Eh...I REALLY wouldn't recommend not killing anything. Aside from gimping your WP, killing enemies before they can start slaying your dudes and eating away their armor is just as important as fixing what's already broken.
Besides, one decently damaged heavy is enough to completely max the WP (so annoying, but better than nothing at all) you get for healing for some period of time. Lot of time you could be using to kill. I'm not saying ignore repairing when your maxed at the moment (your a healer, first and foremost), but when the enemy comes a chargin' and your men start dropping like flies, you either help kill (and try not to die since chances are you will be the only Logi capable of bring the group around you back) them with whoever is alive or force everyone to take a trip back to the spawn.
I see it all the time. There's a heavy at, maybe 40% armor and instead of helping kill the enemy that is tearing into him, so that he can use the resulting calm to revive who has already fallen in the scuffle and heal them up and resupply 'em with ammo, a logi will keep repairing him. Guardian points don't mean jack when the person your reping ends up dying. Even if the heavy goes down, at least you already have your weapon out and have a good chance at taking out the wounded who was attacking, then you can revive everyone and repair.
If that heavy dies, it'll be you and the guys you revive (including the heavy, barring "O" or critical death) VS. the next charge. If you die, it's that one heavily damaged heavy VS. the 3 enemies surely on their way.
Not sure what i'm trying to say. I guess i'll just say what I do. I kill any enemies that are currently a possible threat and when the calm hits, I look around and do my logi business. Only exceptions are when I know there are a bunch of friendlies around who can take care of it. Or I know I can revive the people around me without exposing them to immediate fire.
