Please bare in mind that these are all things that is from the fanfest build and things where missing, potentially everything could be different when the game hits. also there are things i could have forgotten so feel free to ask
Active Scanners:
This interesting piece of equiptment now does exactly what its supposed to do. when you fire, a little thing happens on the minimap, (videos to come) then things that could be scanned appear and stay on the tac net for 5 seconds. When i was using my sneaky nova knife dampened scout fit. this thing was invaluable.
Assault rifles
These have been brought in to be more like blasters that they where meant to be, the sights on the tactical has been changed to an interesting green telescopic sight.
Cycled small missile turret
instead of being a fast ROF turret, this one now shoots several shots in quick succession
Dropships and Assault Dropships.
The flight ceiling has pritty much been removed. there seems to be a soft one, but i was up damn high before i ever notised it. The handling of dropships has also changed, it seems a lot more responsive which was disorientating when i first played with it, all the modules, like all the other vehicles, are shown on the bottom left hand corner. Aiming the assault dropship was interesting, we has a few dog fights, most of them not going that well! but i did manage to master hovering over tanks and installations and blasting them with missiles which was very satisfying. The Assault dropship has 2 gunner slots and 2 passenger slots. They also have a white paint job on both variants. Another thing i am very happy to announce is that the collision damage was noticeably reduced, that being said if you fly at top speed right into a wall you will explode.
Flaylock Pistol
This little monster needs a quick nerf as its a mini mass driver that does more damage than a massdriver. Think of the pistol as a mass driver with less drop and a limited range before the explosion. There is also a varient of the pistol that will lock on to anything including infantry, however this was unavailable for testing at fanfest.
Grenades
Grenades now have a sound that increases in pitch that indicates how long the timer has left.
Plasma Cannon
This weapon felt a bit difficult to use, it also has a slow shooting shot, will need more testing.
Scrambler Rifle
The rifles, currently come with 2 variations, the standard and the assault. The Standard one is sort of like a tactical assault rifle except it fires when you release the fire button and the longer you hold down, the more powerful the shot. The assautl is a rapid fire fire version varient. Unlike the laser rifle, it doesnt have a battery, instead, like the scrambler pistol, each shot is a shot even on the standard version with a charged shot. it really strips away shields like butter.
Spawn Screen
The spawn screen has plenty of interesting info and now has done away with choosing a suit every time you choose a spawn loaction, instead you select one as your defaut and then just choose where you wish to spawn. each spawn point also indicates how long it takes to spawn there.
Starmap
This is something im going to have to accurately explain in the video when i get home as it really is quite awesome.
Nova Knives
Not only are Nova Knives a viable weapon now, but they are also quite scary. Instead of getting rid of the charge time, the knives now lunge regardless how charged they are when you release the button allowing you to very quickly slice and dice if you want, or do one big mega attack. the width of the attack area has also been increased.
Wallet
The corporation and players now have a wallet that shows transactions and descriptions similarly to eve online.

actually no. i tried making a bare bones LLAV but it didnt have a built in repairer. |

I heard mentioned somewhere that the weapons you guys were using were prototypes. Was that true or was that meant in the sense that they have not been added to the game? |

Just checked SiSi and there's only Assault Rifle Sharpshooter which gives a 5% reduction to AR dispersion per level. There's no Light Weapon Sharp Shooter giving range bonus

They seem quite similar but a lot more snappy. whats interesting is that you can now press O to flip over a tiped over vehices, as such, the LAV doesnt self right while driving.

I only tested a few but they do seem better

its certainly more befitting a console. however i personally like the list view, luckly you can choose between the two

Well they are undoubably going to change many things soon.
Did they nerf the hell out of the weapons ranges like everyone has been saying?
I didnt test everything but quite a few things have less range.

Can you use missiles to great effect in dropships like you used to if you have good aim?
Has the explosion glitch been sorted making explosions deadlier? |

Edit: Actually, did SMGs get any semblance of a boost at all or are they still as inaccurate as Storm Troopers? |

like i said above try and get as many stats up on the weapons and dropsuits. I bet people are just dying to find out the racial benefits for each dropsuit.
oh yes is the FPS a stable 30? or do you notice a drop in FPS. basically how much has the netcode and FPS been improved alongside graphics?
