Wow, who would have thought? Well, everybody that had looked at the many, many DS WP problem Posts. Which is why I own some drop ships but they are not worth bringing out unless I just feel like flying.

Oddly enough, CCP had stated they are investigating how to address this problem. One might think there could possibly be a hint on May 6th. I will check the release notes when they are finalized. I am not holding my breath though.

The DS WP limitation is tied to WP balance issues from Closed Beta and did not appear to be an easy problem to solve. They are also tied to some requests to lock seats in vehicles to Squad members and be able to forcibly eject Random Blues that overstay their welcome.

Shouper of BHD Better Hide R Die 66	Posted - 2013.04.27 18:58:00 - [1] - Quote CRU spawn ins should give 10 WP per spawn (that applys to all vehicles but the DS can hold more people so it has a fair advantage) repping sheilds or armor should give 25 WP for each 75 sheild or armor repped aviavle from the armor repair tool, remote repair systems and sheild transporter modules. (vehicles have the obvies and clearly fare upper hand compared to the logi bro since logi vehicles are ment for more transport and repair with little kill support). Also a cap of 10k HP healed every 8 minutes, or a limate to pulses able to be used till recharged at a depot (the ladder I like more since repping freindly vehciles would be more vital since tanks would be slow to getting to them and would aprreatiate support form LAVs or DSs, while the lighter/faster vehicles could get their pulses back and then return to the convoy). deployment should give points, if CCP can make it like in PlanetSide 2 where the following 60 secounds of hacks gives a 25% award to the pilot that would be nice but if not 10 WP for each deployment with a cap of 100 WP every 3 minutes.

Also they nerfed the after burner so you can pick people up and 'eject' from the ground for quick/safe pick up from hot spots (thats in the DS description so...) and it no longer dodges swarms... and uses a slot with massive PG/CPU consuption so... yea useless inless they are going to make some that are usefull for the higher skill lvs, witch would be fine in that case.

They are also tied to some requests to lock seats in vehicles to Squad members and be able to forcibly eject Random Blues that overstay their welcome. check my enw thread, it states what you migth be wanting them to say but before may 6th, the thread is what us pilots need to know (what were getting). no, people complained it wa sbeing abused and easy enough was put a cap on WP gained but their wasn`t enough tiem in beta appearently and they wrote it of and moved on, pilots pcuhed for it and we do have what we want (see thread).
Shouper of BHD Better Hide R Die 68	Posted - 2013.04.28 14:27:00 - [6] - Quote also to the DS / missle tuttet nerfed comemnt, all turret skils were recuded from +5% damage per skill lv to +3%. this will stay in uprising but ALL toehr skills that aren`t proficincy will loose that +x% ammount of damage per lv. yea the AB are pretty useless now. and the Pilot DS gives alot more WP for thoose whom are in vehicles so pilot+DS in the enxt 1-12 motnsh will actualy be usefull!
