In an event that is so emotionally charged, it is the duty of a legal system to provide non-biased jurors and justices to adjudicate the fate of the accused. The accused must be tried by a court of his peers and handed summary judgment by a justice who can be reasonably assumed to be free of any bias. In the opinion of this court, the Minmatar tribal courts would be wholly unable to fulfil either of these prerequisites.GÇ¥
This is not about juristiction, this is an institutional humiliation.
This is saying "We Gallente don-¦t think you Minmatar can handle a proper trial. Only we, Gallente, can give a proper trial in this case."
If this was said by some layperson, i would be annoyed, but understand.
But this was said by the Gallente Supreme Court.
Because you wouldn't. The Minmatar court would be too blinded by their rage to give the man a fair trial.
No, our Tribal Courts are fair. If the evidence indicated that he was guilty he'd be punished and if it didn't, he'd be found innocent.
Good thing he's not Amarr, that's against the law where I grew up. |

The Gallente share all of the same flaws as any democratic state does, they're wishy-washy. There is a reason why my father (an Intaki) came to the Republic; he couldn't bear their indecisiveness. Do not become confused though, my mother (a Sebiestor) ensured that I received a traditional Tribal upbringing in accordance with how she was raised by my grandparents.
If you want to talk racist, talk to my mother, IDK how her and my father ever got together, though she's extremely intolerant of anyone else who isn't Matari or a supporter of Tribal liberation. |

I may hold true to my upbringing though I will never be like that callous *****, you should be gelded for such an insinuation.
My mother was broken by the cruelty of my grandmother who was broken by those who held her captive until their colony revolted. I will never, ever be like her. **queue facial tic**

Stick him in a room that won't allow his implant to broadcast his brain-snapshot. A lead vault, or something. Shoot him. Problem solved.
No, just nail him to a wall, administer medical attention and test his pain threshold for the next 20-30 years.
Make him beg for a death that won't come. |
