It was a two part game mode that you progressed through an area, instead of running around capping and recapping like idiots. |

LogicLoop, you know the actual map guy, was in IRC the other day and said they're not working on it at all at this point, and that they would have to do some work to even get it going.
It's still in there somewhere, but there was something blocking them from simply just bringing it back.
So, still far away.

I wouldn't be surprised if build 0.9 was a "game mode build".
That would still be at least 3 months off though. |

It was during the Replication build back in May or June of 2012 where you had a two-phase match. The attacking team starts from way in the distance where the MCC moves from (yes, the MCC actually moved) and the attacking team needs to hack and destroy two or more defense relays. Assuming you were able to destroy those relays before your MCC's shields were down, the redline then extended further back towards the defending team's headquarters. If the shields go down before then, the MCC will retreat and pull everyone back. If the MCC manages to dock over the enemy's headquarters before it's armor is breached, the game is over and the attacking team wins. |

also in skirmish 1.0 if you failed to cap or destroy the first 2 objective before the MCC lost its shields then it would retreat and you would lose. Also one of the biggest things was there was only 1 MCC from the attacker, and it moved :O, it had to "dock" on to the base and the defenders had to capture the null cannons to destroy it, where as the attackers had to capture them to "disable" them so the MCC got to the destination unscathed |

Today they said that they are bringing it back very soon, he made it sound easy enough but i don't know. Sorry about saying what i said earlier about you not knowing what you are talking about
