This game will stay in beta forever. They will use "free updates" as the gimmick term but in reality they never finish a product.

One thing about CCP is that they will "aspire" to do something, and then do it really slowly, and then stops at 10%.
This is not something I made up. The history of EVE is full of unfinished ideas. There is simply too many of them.
One example would be "walking in station". Several years ago they started the project, and then worked very slowly.
They finally settled with a character creation, a room to walk in, and nothing else.
The way CCP works: inject hopes and dreams into the player, do a little bit to keep them hooked over a long period of time, and then never finish the idea and leave the player "hoping for more". CCP essentially tell lies to make money. This is an essential part of their business model and they simply don't have the right people to launch an "AAA" title.
I mean look at proper PS4 titles here. These are what REAL games look like. Dust is just a gimmicky FPS that will probably survive by leaching a small amount of loyal player base for a very long time. But it probably won't become mainstream in any sort of way. |

I mean look at the speed CCP do things. They need months or even years to implement a TINY feature. They won't survive in the real world. |

Exactly the point I am trying to make. EVE has always been a niche game. CCP is not ready for an AAA game. |

But Dust probably need another 12 months time or more to launch, and by that time PS4 has already came out, Destiny adverts will keep people waiting, and nobody is gonna pay attention to dust. |
