Just speculating. You are quite the ambassador for this game, huh? With lovely, intelligent people like you around, I can't imagine why new players wouldn't want to join this game. Also, I feel obligated to point out that you unintentionally trashed the game you are trying to defend. But yes, I will take the advice of the other poster who responded to me and advised that I abandon ship. I'm pretty burned out on shooters/mmo in general, but every once in a while I like to scratch that itch. Otherwise, currently playing Demon's Souls and Far Cry 3. I will go back to them and wait for Destiny to come out I guess.

As an FPS i like the flavor. It is like BF3 in that the physics are less arcadey then say COD or Halo. Halo and COD do not suck...i just don't like the flavor of them. Furthermore I can use a keyboard and mouse. In otherwords i can play a modern PC style FPS on a $200 console. See how the above is descriptive and states specifically what i like and don't like? See how i did not have to use general ad hominem to describe what I do not like?

Proved by how when I start to play I don't get any kill, and by the time I get back into it I'm going 14/3 and upwards. Again. Depends on your definition of suck. It's going to have a lot of cool features though. If you don't want to see them for yourself, then just tune into fanfest. It's going to be simply epic. But I love this game, and though it's a shame everyone doesn't feel that way, is understandable. I hope you'll come to love it as much as I do in future.

Be specific, which gameplay mechanics? what is wrong with those mechanics? and how should they work?

Yet i wonder how much drop off you can expect with Last of Us and the coming summer blockbusters due to arrive and then going into the fall with PS4 and additional games coming including BF4 you can pretty be certain this game is a goner if CCP doesnt get its stuff together.
