Not sure if I should follow OP fittings or wait for someone else to post "Real" fittings...

Hello, I have been seeing a lot of tank posts in the forums asking to nerf AV and militia gear when they say that they were killed in their gunnlogi or sagaris. I understand you, I honestly understand where you are on this and your right some of the AV equipment is OP BUT not as much as you think. like how the forge gun can do more damage than a prototype railgun, and how AV grenades give too much damage for being able to be resupplied fully within 5 seconds.

A well skilled tank driver can last an entire match also without losing more than half of the shields or armor they have, iv done it countless times also, BUT I know how to drive an armor tank where it doesnt take damage but I can give damage

I drive a Gunnlogi, a Madrugar and a Surya (going after the Sagaris now)

these are my fittings:

Madrugar-

1 Heavy IG-L Polarized armor repair
1 180 reinforced nanofiber plate
1 60 mm reinforced steel plate
1 60 mm reinforced nanofiber plate
1 carapace armor hardener

2 supplemental shield amplifiers

2 20GJ stabilized neutron blasters
1 80GJ scattered neutron blaster.

Surya- (this fitting is best used when your in a full squad of infantry support)

1 light IG-L polarized armor repair
2 180 mm reinforced polycrystalline plates
1 60 mm reinforced nanofiber plate
1 beta powergrid expansion unit

2 azeotropic ward shield extenders
1 azeotropic coolant pump

2 20GJ scattered ion cannons
1 80GJ ion cannon

Gunnlogi- (I use this as a sniping fit and seldom a close combat)

2 azeotropic ward shield extenders
1 shield amplifier
1 heavy clarity ward shield booster

2 20GJ compressed particle accelerators
1 80GJ compressed particle accelerator

the other 3 slots are used with something that gives an edge.

my shield tank has only 4225 shields yet I can do the same amount of damage as a sagaris because I know how to drive it.



To the new tank drivers that are complaining about getting killed from militia AV or free AV stop already, it wont be long before they get rid of the OP AV equipment and balance the rest out.

its you whiners that are giving the good tank drivers a bad name and rep.

if you can go solo driving a tank in pub matches, all the power to you because not a lot of blues can do that, if you can only survive with a squad, then only bring your tank out when your in a squad of people you trust.

this is NOT sympathetic towards the AV players or assault players, im just tired of seeing all these posts in the forums increasing the negative view on tank drivers "wanting to keep their auto-win button". tanks are NOT an auto-win button, a poorly skilled driver will get the most advanced tank destroyed if he gets in the pilot seat, and the most poorly fitted tank can win a game if a highly skilled tank driver gets in the pilot seat.

and those of you assaulters and AV players that want to separate the driver from the gunner, stay quiet and keep your hands down, that's just another way of you asking for tanks to be nerfed even more. I am NOT going to allow a random blue dot to get in my main cannon and start shooting at will, no, if that does happen, tanks will officially be useless.

ITS NOT THE TANK THAT WINS, ITS THE EXPERIENCED PILOT THAT WINS.

I'm sorry but your to dependent on the shields and amour, not your defense and your offense, you can't win against AV and another well fitted maddy or gunnlogi<----(hopping its well fitted for a blaster) So yeah i'll take a look at those mods you have and rework them out.
